Corsair is pinless, he uses the Vulcan body.
And we don’t have Sikorsky, that was Cr’reeeeee (erring on the side of caution since I don’t know how many e’s the name gets).

Well hell, he is. I'm at work and remembered him in the windowless packaging so figured he was on the old bucky body.Corsair is pinless, he uses the Vulcan body.
Sikorsky was the med thing, wasn't he? What did Cr'reeeeeeeeeee even do?And we don’t have Sikorsky, that was Cr’reeeeee (erring on the side of caution since I don’t know how many e’s the name gets).
He's pinless, but not perfect. The one thing most people wanted corrected on him was the red headband should be blue, as it is in MOST of his appearances. I think it's miscolored red in some modern appearances.Well hell, he is. I'm at work and remembered him in the windowless packaging so figured he was on the old bucky body.
The gloves thing still stands though. No face print either, right? He's pinless, but not perfect. The one thing most people wanted corrected on him was the red headband should be blue, as it is in MOST of his appearances. I think it's miscolored red in some modern appearances.
I donno man, take a look at photos of him. The face doesn't look bad to me at all. I don't know about the glove details you're talking about, I'd have to look up comic images. The gloves thing still stands though. No face print either, right?
I think Cr'reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee was just Ch'od's pet? I don't know if he did much besides hang out. But yeah Sikorsky was the medical helicopter alien thing - definitely want him as a pack-in whenever they get to the rest of the group.Sikorsky was the med thing, wasn't he? I'm plenty happy with Corsair as is, but he also has unsculpted thigh-highs, which I always find vexing in ML.The gloves thing still stands though. No face print either, right?
I think it just shows that the BAFs are subject to the same dynamics as any other figure in a wave - sometimes the BAF gets all the attention (re: budget) and sometimes they're made with reuse to get other new figures out the door. That Ch'Od BaF was objectively horrible all-around. In addition to the incorrect finger count, he was missing the fin details on his back and lower legs, the one meager paint application was inadequate, he was missing his crazy laser rifle, and he was waaaay too short. All this, plus the fact they lazily reused a decade-old figure flies in the face of the assertion that the BaF model allows for novel sculpts or larger figures to be included in the line.
I love me some Ch'Od, but I begrudgingly passed on attempting to build him or even consider picking him up on the secondary market. That was some seriously phoned-in bullshit. If they try repackaging that turd in a boxed set, I will have a conniption fit.
I think you are about 10 years to early on the release of Kylun. Which is about 5 years before the release FA Wonder Man.Lucid's visceral reaction to Ch'od is just evidence that we should always remember every character is someone's favorite (or one of their favorites). And it's always a bummer when Hasbro takes the lazy route with ANY figure.
Which you guys should all remember when I'm complaining about Shatterstar and when I inevitably complain about Kylun when they get around to making him in 2038.
Didn't Marvel do a sub-storyline in that Starjammers mini series where Cr'Reee had a wife and a job or some ridiculous shiz like that?I think Cr'reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee was just Ch'od's pet? They also speculated that Box may be the BAF. I think Marina would also be needed for Alpha Flight to be considered "complete."Some things that stood out to me in these interviews is that while nothing is yet locked in, they have been looking at ways to do some kind of X-Men Danger Room environment type sets and making a new Hulk figure that is similar in size to the recent Gamerverse Juggernaut.
Some hints to more Hulk basedd figures coming which is something that has been rumored as well as confirmation that we will be seeing a Deluxe sized figure on retro cardback, which is likely in reference to the rumored Deluxe Onslaught that is seemingly teased on the upcoming X-Men Retro Cardback Emma (Diamond Form) figure.
Dwight also confirmed we will be seeing a large character BAF in 2026 that will round out a team.
Also maybe we should realize that holding on too tight to a specific rendition of a character and expecting a figure to meet those exact specifications isn't realistic. Some kind of compromise will likely be made, so maybe flex a bit. It may be fine to not like 100% of a figure, but also realize it's highly unlikely any figure will meet 100% of your expectations.Lucid's visceral reaction to Ch'od is just evidence that we should always remember every character is someone's favorite (or one of their favorites).
