I kinda prefer the Thorbuster to be around the same size as Thor, not Destroyer. Certainly not this awesome Destroyer we currently have in ML. A Destroyer-sized Thorbuster kinda makes the Destroyer less special.

I loved that ML15 offered the Destroyer as a variant for the Thorbuster. I was all in for MODOK, so I’d have grudgingly bought an IM I didn’t need. But to offer a brand new Legends villain as an option instead was a super cool move.

Still have a lot of love for that wave, even though it marked a death knell for Toybiz Legends.

Agreed. I'm tired of Marvel taking everything cool from every other corner of the MU and giving Iron Man a version of it. I'm surprised he hasn't been an avatar of the Phoenix yet but I'm sure that's coming.

Thorbuster Armor should be big. Like the Hulkbuster Armor. Both are exo-armors with a normal suit of Iron Man armor inside.

Well if you recall, Iron Man confronted the Phoenix using his Phoenix Buster Armor (also called Phoenix Killer Armor). Tony split the Phoenix force into 5 parts, precipitating the Phoenix 5 and A v X.

"Punisher Mecha" is on the rumor/leak list. That could certainly be a "Punisher Mecha" type armor which would fit right in with the Hulk stuff they have planned for 2026.

Yeah, they are fun concepts but not my favorite designs aesthetically. Whereas classic Hulkbuster and Thorbuster both look fantastic.

As a HUGE Punisher fan.... that entire thing is fuckin' dumb and I hate it.

Frank in the War Machine armor? Super cool and an EXCELLENT storyline. This dumbass thing? Meh. They can keep it.

Punisher Mecha would be a weird choice to use the budget for a new sculpt. If you are going with a big armor, why not Titanium Man, Crimson Dynamo, or Firepower?

IMO that was one of Marvel's worst stories of the last 20 years. Other than the Phoenix 5 designs being cool (make them pls Hasbro), AvX wasted years of buildup re: Hope Summers' connection to the Phoenix/role as the Mutant Messiah just to shoehorn the Avengers into it, convolute the story, and throw away all of Hope's prior characterization. Terrible! IvX, Civil War II, and One More Day were worse though.
