I'll admit, I think in some ways I like the premise more than the execution at times.

For whatever reason, this post made me think it might be nice to have some Warwolves. Nice crossover builder baddy from a few books. I assume it'd be a BAF or deluxe.

What run am I looking at if I want to go read that stuff?
 
I like Nimrod’s ability to adapt almost immediately to new threats. It’s a cool power set.

Makes sense for Nimrod to be released again. He had been showing up in House of X and fought Mysterium Armor Iron Man, which also ties into the Skurge BAF wave.

While I didn't read through all the Krakoa stuff, I did like the bit where the one dude becomes Nimrod, and his copying powers become this little micro horror story about how the guy sections off too many versions of himself that get killed until only the robot remains.

I also agree about the power set, but that's also why i think Borg, because that was their deal too. It's awesome, but if you drop it too often it runs out of gas fast, and they stop seeming terrifying, which they should. I feel like fighting Nimrod should always cost you almost everything to stop hm.

There's a small bit when Nimrod first comes back in time and fights Juggernaut where Juggy is all like "hey this guy hits like the Hulk... he might actually be trying to kill me." and Nimrod's response is basically "Did I stutter?"

BAF - Hulkling? Might as well. Or a new shade of Mindless One?

Robbie Reyes could fit in here, maybe America Chavez with her MCU connection. I'm avoiding spoilers but the new Sorcerer Supreme would make a dynamite figure - maybe a deluxe, separate version, with a lot of effects and a base and all the paint needed? Like the Phoenix set.

I'm realizing I am very much not in touch with the 616 magic alley. :) I don't want another Nico, especially if we're never getting more Runaways. But I want all of these characters! My kitbash Wiccan works - but come on!

Hulkling would be a great BAF to go with Wiccan, and they're both overdue.

Not to spill over too much from the supernatural thread but... comic Rintrah would also make a great BAF, but potentially too obscure (and I think the movie version was one and done).

Also, with a new Sorcerer Supreme it's a very good excuse to refresh the magic effects. They've been geting a bit more inventive with effects pieces lately so it seems like a good opportunity.
 
Only time I remember Nimrod looking like that was on some Claremont covers. I dunno who this is for, as he's not THAT expensive on the aftermarket to get, plus with price increases this one wont be much cheaper. I like the newer "older" open mouthed head, but this was one of my least favorite releases with the posability of a brick.

If you really want this thing wait for a sale. I don't think that many will be lined up for him OR Guido.
