G.I. Joe Classified Series: The Chatty Pointless Thread & Performance Art

I'll be in my bunk, don't mind the moaning. Although I had to look up what the hell the fatal fluffies were, I forgot about them.
I had never heard of them either. Must have been from later in the cartoon, as I had stopped watching by the time the second season rolled around. I really like the big beast guy
Fatal Fluffies gets me excited because big monster/robot parts are fun to have in the mix and hopefully help me get to Mega-Monsters and Star Brigade ArmorTech.
.
Getting monsters is always fun, and seeing the design of the big horned monster, I'd love to see him get the Classified treatment! I have now headcanoned him to be a Krampus that was captured by Cobra, and is under the control of Crystal Ball's sorcery. Unfortunately for Cobra, a Krampus can't be controlled for long, and their function is to punish the naughty. Cobra is about as naughty as you can get, so they're royally fucked!

Pyramid of Darkness mini series so pretty early on.
Hmmm...well, I'll chalk this up to old age. The cartoon came about right as I was getting a little older and not really playing with toys much. I was still interested in the comic series at that point, but the cartoon seemed a little too silly to me by that time. I did periodically watch it later when Sgt. Slaughter was on there, but I didn't pay close attention to any of those episodes...and I guess I didn't really for the early episodes either. They were usually just background noise while I did homework.

Came across this and wanted to share:

I'm so basic. I love this.

I've been slowly going through yojoe.com and downloading the filecards just to have, and had no idea they did a new Muskrat in 1993. Also, the Dook done that year is such a basic desert style camo soldier looking guy but I kinda want that version of him. I could get into that.

This was my favorite Duke, the only drawback being the lack of a removable helmet. I HUGE TIME want this Duke and he’d be great for a “desert Duke”, especially since that figure was designed to jump on Operation: Desert Storm.

I'm a bigger fan of Dessert Storm, but I hear you. Yeah, in my shelf canon, Duke is a Major now and he is always at the command helping Hawk with coordinating everyone in the field, with his focus more on the senior/special forces elements, with Stalker usually being the highest rank in the field (he's Lt. Colonel for me).

Dessert Storm. Sounds like something the current administration would engage in. "We've been treated very unfairly by the nation of Candyland. Chancellor Gumdrop is a narco-terrorist who is smuggling fentanyl in the cotton candy. They're responsible for 400 billion people dying last year, and so I'm announcing operation Dessert Storm to put an end to it. Joe Biden just let this happen. He's to blame for every cavity in your kid's mouths".

In all seriousness, I highly recommend Dimension 20's "A Crown of Candy." It sounds so stupid - Candyland mashed up with Game of Thrones - but it does this bizarre thing where it takes itself completely seriously so suddenly you're deeply invested heirs to the throne who are un-ironically played as sentient licorice whips.

But... that's the original Dook!

I haven't been able to get on here much lately until today, and I mean Articulated Thoughts in general. The Holidays and preparing for everything has had me busy As F***. Nothing bad at all, just busy.

But in the feel-good story of the year, Ma and Pa Super Camel got me the AWE Striker.

I had taken a small break from GI Joe Classifieds to catch up on some other stuff. Then, I got all caught back up on GI Joe but hadn't pulled the trigger on the AWE Striker. I wanted it, as it is one of my favorite vehicles, but just hadn't gotten around to buying it.

But I saw Mom and Dad yesterday, and they got it for me. Those sand baggin sons a bitches. They know me so well.

I had the original of this figure. I’ve gone on record to say that Spearhead was the last Joe I bought, but a friend of mine got me that desert camo Duke very randomly, and I kept it on card for like ever. I wound up losing track of it. Thinking I had it in my collection, I searched and searched, but wound up replacing it via eBay. I’d totally get that version if they released it in Classified.
