Alt, that question is going to have my brain spinning the rest of the night. Writing the file card project has RUINED me for narrowing down my core team. Though if I just went with "who lives on your desk 24/7 forever" it's
  • Snake Eyes (some version of him with the knight's visor) + Timber
  • Scarlett
  • Flint
  • Lady Jaye
  • Spirit + Freedom
  • Mutt + Junkyard
  • Chuckles
  • Beachhead
  • Sci-Fi
  • Crank Case
  • Cover Girl

With a few guys who are OFTEN on the desk: Shockwave, Mainframe, Law & Order, Stalker, Hawk.

Villains are easier:
  • Storm Shadow (OG)
  • Destro
  • Baroness
  • Firefly (retro)
  • Bludd
  • Croc Master
  • The one Cobra officer have who is head-cannoned into a spy

I don't usually keep a CC within arm's reach for some reason, though he's a must-have, and I tend to not have Mindbender around because I can't handle that much sexiness 24/7.

The MINUTE you divest of the 013 because you don't have clutch they re-release him on a retro card, you know that, right? Classic cartoon tan uni and everything, just to make you angry.

I once had my entire Avengers display, for lack of a better term, ASSAULT ME FROM ABOVE during a call. Whole goddamned lineup just pelted me from the sky. There was much swearing and apologizing.

I'll be in my bunk, don't mind the moaning. Although I had to look up what the hell the fatal fluffies were, I forgot about them.
 
Chuckles! For sure Chuckles and Cover Girl will never leave my core team.

And yeah I bet they will. They might even give Clutch a cool overhaul like Breaker got. I forget how close he looked to the new comic book version, but I liked that look.
 
Fatal Fluffies gets me excited because big monster/robot parts are fun to have in the mix and hopefully help me get to Mega-Monsters and Star Brigade ArmorTech.

Classified dinosaurs is just, like, frigging amazing, man. You know they’ll come for Mattel and top the Amber Collection raptors if this rumor is true.

Now Wild Bill is gonna be in Sunbow colors for his retro, mark my words.

I gotta believe Clutch is on their list to get the Breaker treatment. I actually like the modernized version that came with the Vamp but I'd be thrilled if they made a more Sunbow-y version of him instead.

I always thought the original Chuckles figure was so dumb looking, but Classified Chuckles has never not been on my desk since I got him. He's so STUPIDLY fun. I think he probably talks like Bruce Campbell.

If true I’m stoked. In particular, I hope Retro Firefly has original toy colors (by which I mean, way darker than the last release) and also spooky eye face printing on the level of Night Force Shockwave. And also that they fix his weird torso floppiness.

This line-up doesn't mention any Ninja Force and that makes me furious.
However, it does include presumably IG Destro and Dusty, so I'm in.
Then again, Dusty and Sandstorm instead of Spearhead and Max? I changed my mind. This list sucks except for Destro.

It wasn't even the end. There was a whole year of product after it came out. I just don't think anyone cared so they abandoned the idea. Plus, Jurassic Park had just come out and the toys for it were hitting and, of course, blowing away anything Hasbro was going to do in terms of recognizable dinosaur toys. They had no chance.
