NECA - General Thread

I have a Target in my town and one in the next town over. They've traded places over the years in regards to which is the good Target, but right now they're both more of a "bad Target" where NECA is concerned. Didn't see anything yesterday when I went out, but I had some unexpected bills come up so I was kind of relieved to see nothing.
 
Thinking about picking up the Harry Potter re-releases. At least Voldemort and maybe Snape. I had bought the originals way back when, but the paint improvements (and no clear plastic use) will make these much better representations on the shelf. I doubt they're going to jump back in deep on HP, but I wouldn't mind them re-releasing Hagrid. The clear plastic finally got that one to fall apart too, but it was always a really tremendous sculpt.
 
Still nothing at my Target. Including skim milk, goddammit. Getting really tired of that even moreso, to be honest.
 
My Target was a bust, as expected. But, hey, they had a shit-ton of Fugglers! That's just as good, right? I swear, my local NECA rep is a damn blockhead.

Don't think I can pick them up in good conscience, but I will say, they did look good. Harry looked about the same as the original release, but the other 3 looked like pretty decent improvements likeness-wise (at least from what I remember them looking like). Only one I may be even slightly tempted by is Snape, only because I loved Alan Rickman something fierce. I think at least he was marked as $27.99, so I'd assume the others would be too.

I haaaaate those fuckin' things. Not only do they look absolutely vile, but the ones at my Target are motion activated to fart, so they're just ripping ass non-stop. I've had my headphones in a few times and didn't really hear them go off, but considering the strange stares I got from some passersby, I think they thought it was me. Can't wait for those things to get the hell off the shelves.
 
I have yet to meet anyone who likes Fugglers. My kids find them horrifying, but not in a fun way.
