In the White Hot Room
The nearest Kith locations are in Brooklyn. Will they let me in if I'm wearing Wranglers and my New Balances?
Yeah, if it's giving purposeful dadcore and not "I don't have fashion sense."

It’s not about the style of the clothes, it’s about the “culture” of “flexing”. The style is irrelevant.the looks are purposefully done and put together, even if not your personal taste.

Arrogance and self-aggrandizement will always turn me completely off to a person/place/thing, and “look how rich/successful/powerful I am” is a shameful public stance, in my view.
And I’ve never met a “flexing” rich person I want to associate with. Why does it bother you? Rich people have always worn rich people clothes.
Ha, Homage is HQ'd here in Columbus so they have a couple physical locations that will have decent sales. Funny to hear it mentioned outside this city.I fainted when I saw that $135 price tag. I try to spend as little as possible on clothes. I can barely stomach the occasional Homage purchase.
That said, if you like spending your money on clothes, more power to you.

I just can’t with people who try to “show off” wealth or position or power or prestige. And my studies tell me that the need to do so bespeaks a disordered mind. Also: it’s just fucking gross. I also can’t listen to music where the performer touts their wealth/accomplishments/clout. It doesn’t matter the genre/style/whatever, it’s about the arrogance and the self-aggrandizement.
I work with actors, man. Nothing pisses me off more than “diva” bullshit. I will not tolerate it. If you are trying to show me you are “better” in some way, I’m gonna judge you worse.
Only a weak person performs “strength”.

As long as they aren’t literally showing off price tags and trolling for “clout”, we won’t have any problems. It feels like a lot of projection towards people you don't actually know though.
Heh.I personally don't mind arrogance in a person if there's something behind it.
Confident is good. *Authentic* is even better!prefer confident.
