General Marvel Legends

Couple of random Legends this week after a dry spell. Red She Hulk is, I know, mostly parts reuse, but she's solid, she pops, she's cool, and I've wanted a good Betty Rulk since I started collecting legends so I dig her. There's like, two or three other looks I would have preferred but if this is the one Betty we get, I'm not unhappy.

Marvel Unlimited's Spider-Woman - again, I know this is entirely reuse, but I have to say, this is the first time the figure itself from Unlimited didn't feel... FLIMSY? Like every other figure except for maybe the silver Carol has felt like it was made out of slightly cheaper plastic than a normal Legends figure. And while Jess comes with NOTHING, no extra hands, no extra ANYTHING... the actual figure is solid, good joints, strong plastic, really beautiful face paint apps. Not a knockout and definitely skippable if you're not a MU subscriber but one of the few times I haven't been like 'man, they used the B-team at the factory for this one." A few swappable hands and she'd stand alone as a figure in a normal wave.

Sorry for the long-winded rant but, @EnigmaticClarity hasn't been posting much as of recent, so I expect y'all were jonesin' for a dissertation.

I've been working from home since COVID started, but I recently got a new job that's 100% in the office until you've been there for six months. No time for day posting anymore! 😭

I want pack in characters with Hit-Monkey levels of articulation of Power Pack. Or, I will also accept a more articulated 5 pack of Power Pack for the price point of a traditional 3 pack.

Do with this information what you will.

I fully endorse this, although I'd probably prefer a 4-pack of Alex, Julie, Jack and Katie for the price of a normal 2-pack. For the fifth were you thinking Franklin, Whitemane or other?

Yeah... highly unlikely smaller figures are half the price. Sure its less plastic, but its the same number of pieces per figure, and smaller so harder to paint and assemble. Maybe you can fit more pieces on an individual steel tool, but maybe not. There's a reason 1/18 scale isn't significantly cheaper than 1/12...

Franklin.

And he will ironically go in my X-Men display, because I associate Power Pack with the X-Men thanks to the Mutant Massacre and Inferno story arcs,
