G.I. Joe Classified One-A-Day Beamish-Style Figure Poll - #144 - Salvo (RAH)

Man, Hama really didn't give him much of a story. I guess the shirt says it all. I'd get him. I had a particular love for his helmet as a kid. The soft material fit so snug, but made him look like a completely different character.
 
Salvo was a childhood favorite of mine, too. And yes, the helmet was great and actually fit. Definitely want him in Classified!

"The Right of Might" is a bit too... extremist sounding for my tastes, but his file card made me laugh with "fuck your technology, I do this myself" and that balances it out for me.

We all have our issues, and I'm sure he did as well. Though the good outweighs it, I did have a couple of questionable interactions with him. Nothing that would sour my memories, but it's there.

As for Salvo. I want a full on Heavy Duty style load out for him. Strap it all to his body.

Perfect summary of how he reads. Like there's a fun story there "tech fails after an EMP blast and only Salvo can save them!" followed by "and then he started talking about what Joe Rogan said last week and made everyone uncomfortable."

Yeah, like.. don't look up who uses that tagline. But, to be fair, I'm SO done with extremists co-opting everything so I just tend to ignore it since it's not a MAIN slogan for anyone terrible.

New head canon: Salvo's so anti-technology he doesn't even know how extremists have co-opted his phrase because the internet is for nerds and wusses. He got that shirt at the Salvation Army for two dollars and he's going to be buried in it.
