Four Horsemen Studios Mythic Legions

I guess there were a lot of sex/romance options.

From what I understand, Neopets signed off on the initial idea, and then Geekify (the developer) went rogue.

I don't know when I got so innocent, but "oh yeah, probably furry content" just didn't even occur to me until your post. Like, it's gonna get furries. I don't judge, most furries seem pretty harmless. But I don't understand why that would be in the game mechanically? Like, if you had a note to GMs like, "Hey, sometimes your players might want to pursue romantic plot elements, navigate with caution and make sure everyone's comfortable with it," that's probably fine. I have no idea what age range this system's for, but a lot of Neopets users are apparently older nostalgia players, so I expect this is largely drawing the same crowd.

Clearly, extremely graphic death matches between the pets. Also the giant omelette is drugs.

When you only vaguely remember the 2000s and think you've bought the Happy Tree Friends license and now you've painted yourself into a corner.

Okay, for all the busting I've been doing on the Kickstarter I am going to just give credit where credit is due - the bonus dwarf head on the new dwarf body from Rising Sons, with the brown wired cape, is just a damned fun little figure. I can't stop posing him with a sword in one hand and a torch in the other. Makes me want to line up a bunch of dwarves with that Ringlerun homage wizard from years back and send them looking for a hobbit burglar.

If it’s the same group this is going to be one of your mounts by level 5.

Using Legions parts or minis? I can track down the seller I got this one unpainted from if you need it. (I'm not usually a fan of 3D printed minis but the owlbear is chonky enough he doesn't break the way humanoid minis do when 3D printed.)

The bonus head is very clearly based on John Rhys Davies, not as Gimli, but like a younger John Rhys Davies in Gimli adjacent makeup…

I was going to put this head on the Viking, but since “Elven Ranger” is Legendary Warrior levels of copyright infringement on a certain other member of the Fellowship maybe my bonus dwarf head will also steal the Exile Under the Mountain body and they can hang out and be buddies.

I didn't ss JRD until you pointed it out becuase it's very clearly a YOUNG version of him, but I see it now. I've got him on the Exiles body because he looks like the dwarven ranger I've played a lot in D&D (and made as a hunter in WoW) for ages and ages.

The base body head from Exiles looks SHOCKINGLy good on that very generic gray armored dwarve buck they had as an army builder, too. I've got them side by side as a paladin and ranger, with the female dwarf hanging back maybe as a barbarian or rogue. As much as I nitpick about Mythic legions, I do enjoy their dwarves more than the others.

I meant in Action Figure form... ostensibly using one of tje discounted Hasbro Owlbears I already own as a starting point.

Got an email from the 4H last night saying they needed help make it a huge success.

Part of the email reads:

This is where YOU come in!

Our Kickstarter for this game is blowing up! It funded in less than 5 minutes and is climbing. As of this email we are well over 1800 backers and $700k in pledges, but we are hoping to go into this week's trade show, which starts today, even stronger!

Finally ship me Attlus and his Bear and MAYBE I'll think about it.

OR

Stop sending me emails about purchasing more items before you ship what you owe me. Just a thought.
