Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

If only they weren't each individually so cool I had thought the same thing. Instead they kind of have young and brash, old and beat to hell, and the King of the Sea vibes going on together.
 
I like the idea of more sea people, with Merman being their leader. I like the idea of using the Revelations versions as those followers. But in my head, Clawful, being a crustacean man, and living in the sea, makes him answer to Merman as well. If Whiplash were more aquatic, less lizard, I'd consider him too. It's similar for me to have Stratos be the Avian leader, with Buzz Off's tribe being cooperative neighbors as aerial insectoids, whose mortal enemies are the spider people like Webstor.
 
I do this same thing that you're describing for Mer-Man with Beast-Man as well. Different figures as different additional members of that "species". Honestly the same thing with Man-at-Arms as palace guards. To some degree, I could see someone doing the same with Buzz-Off, Stratos, etc.....

I keep buying the non-mustached versions of Duncan specifically to be generic troops for him, and I absolutely have Beast-Man Prime and his lackeys. It's funny that Mer-Man, specifically, has variations that don't feel like generics but rather good looks for him.

I've been debating somehow using cartoon and New Eternia Stratos as different characters, but they both feel like Stratos himself in hand.

Who knows, maybe this time one of us will actually get one.
 
Just cracked open Mantenna. Man, I love when MOTU just goes weird and stays weird. I honestly don't know what to do with him but I know I want to do something funny with him photo-wise.

Some stuff has leaked overseas in some computers, and I don't know if they'll still happen, and I think these were even rumored once before, but the next Vintage Collection figures should be Beast man and Wun-Dar. Those should be more fun than most to get cancelled at Wal-Mart.

The cancellation play pattern possibilities for Beast Man and a guy with a loaf of bread are endless.

Fingers crossed. Wun-Dar gives you a new Vintage-style He-body with no wash like the 40th anniversary one. And honestly I haven’t really loved any of the Masterverse Beast Men so far.

I was really hoping we’d get some sort of Vintage Collection Ram Man that could fix the rubber leg issue. I’d take single-jointed solid legs, I just want something that won’t tear.

Thanks for this. I'm kinda giving up on the Vintage line since Walmart is determined to make sure none of us get them, but I did want Teela so good to get her. Just ordered. Much obliged.
