Big Bad Workshop General

That's a lot of merch in a single month, but psyched to see some stuff on the horizion. I've only got three figures preordered and they're each in a different bracket. There's two or three others I was thinking about getting. I'm actually more likely to preorder one or two more if I can kinda anticipate when they'll hit my credit card.

As much as I make jokes about the three-year interest free loan of paying 4H figures up front, it's kind of a funny relief to be like "sure yeah I've got a whole wave coming next month but man, that money was spent a GENERATION ago."
 
I mean they did show off art for a second COPS figure.

I think it’s just a few factors.

Cops comes out 6 years after the launch of GI JOE ARAH which means a lot of those OG fans phased out prior or didn’t stick around very long but it’s also late enough that’s kinda in between being an 80s-90s property that it doesn’t necessarily fit either of those groups.

Another factor is that Vala trademarked some COPS stuff at some point so there’s a vague competing line somewhere out there that people might want to see more of.

I thought it was Chicken Fried Toys that had a 4" line announced at one point? Either way, I wholeheartedly agree about not having more announced. Having something about to ship and not having more solicited is worrying. I never know when Thundercats, Silverhawks, COPS, and Youngblood are going to come grinding go a halt.

Also, I get the impression that Fresh Monkey has a good relationship with Chicken Fried, so I don't think there's any intended competition.

Also also, I'm a sucker for civic employee characters. C.O.P.S., Rescue Heroes, Village People... I remember trying so hard to get my kid into Rescue Bots.

Yeah my March is fitting to be brutal... I went all in on the SoF line to get that Jaguar soldier. I am also all in on the Crimson Moon wave plus an extra trooper (or two?) plus the monkey spy and the snake wrestler and the COPS figure... so yeah fittin to fork over a hefty sum.

I have a 17-year gap with my littlest brother and sister and I was trying really hard to get them into Rescue Heroes because I wanted to play with them.
