G.I. Joe Classified - News & Updates

Hoo boy, of all the stereotypical 80s tough guys I don’t relate to, I don’t relate to Chuck Norris the hardest. You’d think there’d at least be something there, because I was an 80s/90s whiteboy karate kid, but . . . nope. He icks me right the hell out.
Maybe you've always been able to just sense the Christian Nationalist Bigot vibes. Because he is 100% a Christian Nationalist Bigot.

I would 100% look at the Missing in Action cassettes at the video store and think “mmmm that guy looks like a guy Republicans would like”. 🤮

I could see the Classified team doing one for the Legacy line, but this silhouette character is supposed to be a completely new character and part of the next regular retail wave. Legacy releases, to date, have all been separate, deluxe offerings.

Despite Chuck Norris being a personality vacuum, some of his earlier films are enjoyable. Lone Wolf McQuade in particular. That said, Texas Walker Ranger is only good for laughs.

I had some of the SF Joes but have no nostalgia for wanting Classified versions.

Hasbro getting the license for this movie is such a bizarre move. Theres a random ass chance the movie is some kind of hit. but will that translate to toy sales?

I have definitely started poking my Amazon order for the next two wave with a stick saying "c'mon, move" seeing some folks getting them in-hand early. Somehow I'm LESS patient having had some of them move from April to February.

I didn't know Chuck Norris was a real dude. My friend was in a martial arts tournament and he kept claiming that he was being trained his friend, Chuck Norris, and one day his mom told me that was his imaginary friend.

I think he might have been going through something because his soccer coach used to make him dress drag before I moved to that neighborhood.

Outside of Bruce Lee movies and some Missing in Action on cable tv, I'm mostly familiar with Chuck because of the atari 2600 game and the Kenner figures are one of my favorite small lines, probably one of those things I bought up on clearance as a kid (I'm missing the red Ninja Master). I've never seen a Walker Texas Ranger.

Chuck! Watch out for the ninja with the throwing star!
