Star Wars Black Series

I wonder if they're surviving Dathomiri Zabrak. They all had tattooed looks but I know the planet was decimated in either Clone Wars or Rebels.

Interested to learn more about the Zabrak too. For as popular as Maul, and, I suppose Savage have been, we don't get too many Zabraks (maybe so they won't take the spotlight away from them or confuse general audiences?) We know one of the new ones is named
Icarus
thanks to the Funko Pop. Don't think that's a spoiler, but just in case. I'd love to see some female Zabrak too; we've only ever gotten, what, 1 in live action? Mother Korill from Acolyte.

I always love when Zabrak show up. Waiting on Agen Kolar from the Jedi council of course, and the old Star Wars Miniatures game had some fun Zabrak unnamed figures that made for great player characters and NPCs. I do love how in such a very Star Wars way, the art led the lore and that's why we have two sub-species of Zabrak. I swear no franchise in history has made up lore so often to shoehorn "we just... thought it was cool" into an official part of the galaxy.

I'm excited about the possibility of
Talon making her canonical debut, even if she is in a different timeline, and a bit different character wise. I hope we see more characters from the EU brought into canon. Much of the EU was a mess, but there is no denying that it had many fantastic characters introduced that deserve to be brought back in some form or fashion.

Totally agree. I would love it if they mined that resource for good characters and ideas that don't necessarily fit in official cannon but can work. (Looking at Kyle Katarn on my shelf specifically right now, too.)

Since we're between waves - top ten Expanded Universe/Legends characters you'd like to see reworked for the main continuity and in Black Series? (Mine's always inspired by how amazing the roster in Star Wars Miniatures was - I kinda just want a figure for everyone they made there).
  1. Corran Horn (always my go-to)
  2. Jax Pavan (Coruscant Nights)
  3. Darth Sion (any of the villains from KOTOR)
  4. Jolee Bindo (and any of the heroes from KOTOR)
  5. Mission Vao (we got her wookiee bro FFS!)
  6. Antares Draco (and the Imperial Knights)
  7. Marasiah Fel
  8. A'Sharad Hett
  9. Juno Eclipse
  10. Maris Brood
  11. Deluxe figure: Master K'Kruhk (either of his looks) or a generic whiphid in general

Bonus points for all the old Republic Jedi we'll never see, like the Qel-Dromas, Nomi Sunrider, etc. All those old school characters like Exar Kun, Darth Bane....

My actual wants are simple, but will probably never get made. The seven Null-ARCs from the Republic Commando books, along with Kal Skirata, and maybe Walon Vau. After that, there isn't much in the way of a want.

Man, they really are a vaguely Ed Harris-ish head away from being able to make Skirata with existing parts, aren't they. That feels like an easy win. Especially considering the core four exist already.

Talon was a big one for me, and next is probably Lumiya, but I would also love A'Sharad Hett. I could easily be convinced to get a Jodo Kast, as well as the Force Unleashed trooper designs.

I don't know, but is that trailer legitimate? It's not on Disney or Star Wars main YouTube Channels, and that same channel that has the trailer in question, AD_Edits, had a trailer a month ago with Talon looking like that in it which I do believe was just an edited fake. They are definitely using real footage from Maul: Shadow Lords, but are those images of Talon real? I don't think they are.

Also, I believe the Twi'Lek Jedi Survivor in this show is set to become Maul's protégé, thus basically making her the Canon Talon. Maybe.

But I don't know if those images of Talon in that trailer from AD_Edits are real.

Jesus, I need to stop multitasking. I probably got duped. I just saw "trailer 2" and didn't look at the source but since it was almost all actual footage from the show I'd seen I just rolled with it.

(On the upside, I might've been fooled by some asswipe on Youtube but then I spent an hour thinking about EU characters I loved who would be great in Black Series...)
