The only information I've seen is that Popeye figures will be shown 'later'. That was the response BFS sent me when I asked about Popeye reveals showing up during their advent reveals. I hope we see them at some point in Q1 2026. My guess for the wave is pretty much the same as you. Alice and Geezil seem like clear choices for the reasons you say. Popeye and a big bad (maybe Oxbow Oxheart) in boxing attire are my guess for the other two figures. I would be happy with that wave. I'd be happy with just Alice and Geezil.
That would make sense given they made them in the Mezco 5 pts line as well. I'd probably get them if they made them.
Thanks for the name correction. I'm not sure why Oxblood is often selected from the many big guys Popeye boxed, but it seems like he's usually the pick for merch. Personally, I think Kid Mustard is a more interesting character because of the whole spinach eating thing.
That space girl and warrior feel like they’re taking extra long, with zero updates.
Their latest update email says Q2 for Epic HACKS wave 1 as well as Hellboy wave 1, which is weird considering how far apart the pre-orders for those were. I expect the HACKS will come out within the next 4 months but Hellboy might be pushed back. The last thing they showed of the 6" wave 1 were unpainted test shots in June last year.
I agree except the last bit. I don't expect the 6" figure quality to 'continue' necessarily. Or, I should say, if it does continue I expect that will be happenstance rather than design. I don't think Andrew actually gives enough of a fuck to -try- to make them good quality, so it'll just be whether the factory spits them out that way or not.
