U.S. Politics

MY tinfoil hat moment is that I legitimately do not believe that Trump won the election. I'm not going around being an election-denier, because I have no proof and I'm not a conservative so I don't just say things are true because I believe them. But I DO believe the election was rigged in Trump's favor.

And I think the reason Republicans have, for the first time in history, not bothered to PRETEND to be helping their base while destroying the country, is because now they know HOW to fix elections and never intend to go back.
I often have this thought as well. The comments Trump made at his rallies about not needing votes really fuels this thought.
Amazing how many latino men still vote conservative given that all of their friends are being rounded up and sent to slavery-torture prisons.
Baffles me. It's a real "Jews For Hitler" mindset
I'm in the same boat, especially when he screams so much about the other side cheating. Like the philandering husband who always suspects his wife of being unfaithful.
The MAGA playbook seems to be screaming accusations about things they are actually doing.
All my in-laws are Mexican, and some have changed their tune lately but some are just vehemently into Trump and expertly regurgitate all the greatest hits etc, and it's just.... Fucking horrible to me. It makes absolutely no sense, and I feel it should since I myself am a race-traitor.
Same here. My s/o is half Mexican, and most of that side of the family are at least somewhat Trumpers. Her mom and her uncle are the lone liberals who get looked down on by the Fox News loving folks. I have to bite my tongue at family events, because I want to tell them that if Trump had his way, every one of them would be shipped out of the country, regardless of the fact that they all were born in the US. They haven't figured out yet that the Mango Messiah does not give even the slightest of shits about them.
With conservatives, every accusation is a confession. The same way they accuse everyone of being pedophiles but the people getting caught raping children and looking at child porn are conservatives 90% of the time or more. If conservatives are accusing people of doing something, they are probably the ones doing it.
THIS!
But also there were the comments from Musk that he is the -reason- Trump won, and that time we all apparently pretend didn't happen when Trump went on a live mic and talked about how Musk 'really knows those voting machines.' I don't even think they went to great lengths to hide it, because after Jan 6 even Democrats were terrified of even suggesting an election COULD be rigged.
My thoughts exactly. Musk and Trump both seemed like they could barely contain themselves...that they were just DYING to brag about what they'd managed to pull off.

@TheGillMan ok, not breaking new ground here but I'm still so supremely frustrated by this... It's one thing when poor white trash mistake him for one of them, but non white people? Just... Listen to the fucker a little bit and smarten up! And people who felt politicians are too full of shit so let's vote in a businessman?! And a horrendously bad one at that. Just... Fawk!

"Just vote for me and you'll never have to vote again." He fucking said it OUT LOUD and we all just pretend he didn't.

Our -planet- has such a problem with this. Gay Christians. Like dude... they would kill you if they had the political power to do so, just like they do in Saudi Arabia. I'll never understand people who have a desperate need to be loved by the -specific- people that hate them.

I watched that video. He just kind of stares for a second and then turns away. To be fair, there's nothing he can do, but he really looks like it's an inconvenience to him. And RFK just left immediately.
