Storm Collectibles

He just looks so good. I'm really excited for this one. I see Sagat and the others are all getting a second run too. I think I can resist Sagat and Dan for now. I think Bison's next up?
 
Having two similar lines running at the same time from Storm Areana and Jada at nearly the exact same price point is excruciating.

I'm not even a big fan of the Street Fighter IP as I'm more of a Mortal Kombat guy, but I've bought or pre-ordered all of the Jada figures so far due to just how great they are.

Now I just entered a pre-order for the 5 figures including re-issues that BBTS put up today because again everyone is raving about them so much. I already had Dan and Nash pre-ordered to try out the line.

I definitely don't need to be collecting two separate lines for any IP... and I don't even really like Street Fighter. LOL! I know that Hasbro is supposed to be doing movie figures as well but I don't expect that I'll even be tempted by those.

I haven't picked up any Jada, though I believe the hype that they move like a dream. That said, the Storm Arenas I have also move like a dream and have the *exact* look I want. If anything, Jada feels more like it looks like the sprites in game, and Arena feels more like the artbooks.

Bare minimum, the Ryu and Ken I've got are dynamite figures. Some of the best of last year for me.

I’m right there with you. I had planned to just stick with Jada and call it a day after completing the SF2 roster, but then all of the rave reviews for Storm Arena started coming in, and the next thing I know, I’m cherry picking both lines. At the rate I’m going, I’m going to end up with two very incomplete rosters AND a lot of overlap which is kind of a “worst of both worlds” situation.
 
I was really tempted to get some of both lines, but I missed out on the Ryu and Ken reissues today. Kinda bummed but also maybe that's the universe telling me to stick with Jada since i'm pretty happy with them as-is.
 
Totally random question, but has there been any discussion about any more characters from Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets? I was just shuffling some stuff around in the office, including Ken and Jun, and realized I think I might actually die of old age before we get the whole team.
