Star Wars Black Series

So I realized in my current little Star Wars kick that I haven't been sort of taking the figures out and enjoying them as much lately because the way I kept them stored for safety made them... really hard to just swap out. I just reorganized the continers I use, which are clear so I can tell what's inside. And I admittedly, being a cantina character junkie, went a little crazy and got enough Bith to make Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes, who are not currently on display.. They're in a clear box with some other cantina denizens.

I'd stacked the clear plastic boxes in my office and all of the Modal Nodes heads were lined up pointing at me through the container.

A half-dozen flex-colored... veiny... heads... pointed in my general direction, with no context.

I just moved that box.
Never leave your Nodes hangin' out, my guy.

They knew what they were doing with the Cantina Band. Heads that look like dicks but also kinda like butts, with mouths that look like vajayjays but also kinda like buttholes, playing music called "Jizz" on a "Jizz Flute".

Regardless, I hadn't had room to put ol' Figran and the Jizzers out on display until recently, but they're a really fun bunch. Part of me still feels a little silly for getting them back in my "Ah, what the hell?" collecting days, where I bought everything at full price- especially 2 of the deluxe ones. I don't normally like to pay so much to have a little Jizz, but hey, it makes me happy to look at.

Maul: Shadow Lord Black Series figures going up for order tomorrow at 1: Maul, Devon Izara, Rook Kast, and The Eleventh Brother. They look pretty darn good! Not sure I need another Maul just for the cloak, but the rest look great. I foresee Rook's skirt getting in the way, though- ain't no way it'll really bend like that in person without some serious heat.

Ooooooh, Rook Kast is a cool name. I assume she's related to Jodo? Shit, that's one I never expected to get a figure of.

Apparently, at least according to a quick Google search, Rook and Jodo aren't related. I guess "Kast" is just a slightly common surname? Never realized until said search how many "Rooks" there are either- Rook Kast, Pagetti Rook, just plain Rook from Rebels. I guess even Star Wars creators can only come up with so many names.

Don't know much about Brander Lawson, but I wouldn't be surprised to see him in a future wave. Seems like an easy enough figure to do. Has the benefit of being voiced by (and maybe made to look like?) Wagner Moura too.

I’ll take “Rook” over and over again over “Savage Oppress” or “Rex” or whatever.

These Maul figures look really cool. That Inquisitor has major Final Boss energy.

Heheheh Jodo Kast. Twin Engines of Destruction and Masters of Teras Kasi forever!!
