Star Wars Black Series

Did you guys watch the Mando and Gu trailer? It looked like a lot of fun. I may be biased because I love Grogu so much, but it did look like a fun Star Wars adventure and movie.
Yeah. I'm stoked. I'm sure I'm going to have a blast watching it. But I'm also with Jake that I think they need to start advancing this story. And maybe that's what they're doing. If Grogu speaks, for instance, I don't expect we'll hear it in the trailer.

Yeah, it's the same species as Rio from Solo. Who knows if he'll play a prominent enough part to get a figure made- probably not, but seems like he might be an easy enough custom for those who feel inclined. Would be fun to have a figure of Favreau, Filoni, Herzog, and Scorsese all on the same shelf.

Wonder if Filoni is gonna be voicing Embo again. If/when we get an Embo, it'll be our 3rd Filoni character, behind Trapper Wolf and Chopper.

Got Seventh Sister from Amazon this morning. Excited to crack her and Quinlan open later (there's a joke in there somewhere, I'm sure. We know Quinlan likes his ladies with a dark side)

I just got shipping soon notices from Pulse about the Quinlan Vos Wave. Should ship early next week. I'm so excited to get this Wave. Especially Quinlan Vos. When I have that figure in my hands (I ordered 2 of them actually), I'm going to run around my neighborhood and tell everyone to eat shit! A big bag of shit! It's my time now! I Ball!

Until then though, while I'm calm, I think I will order the rest of the Mando and Gu figures that went up for pre order. That trailer got me, and now I really want to play "We're Mando and Grogu and we're hunting assholes whilst fighting imperial remnants", with plastic figures from the comfort of my home.

But with Quinlan Vos!

Kyle and Dooku moved up to shipping tomorrow. I actually don't mind that I got the wave split - got to enjoy Quinlan and Seventh Sister for a week before the other two get here. (OH SHIT - they shipped while I was typing this and will be here tomorrow with three Joes!)

The trailer looks like good old fashioned Star Wars fun. I can honestly say, I very rarely get persnickety or defensive of Star Wars anymore, but people clipping Embo and saying "somehow, Glup Shitto returns" is pissing me off because I really can't abide people who don't realize that Clone Wars/Rebels had better storytelling than like, 80% of the live action stuff and dudes like Embo are, in fact, a LOT OF FUN.
