Star Wars Black Series

Just pure speculation but I wonder if they de-prioritize the snow troopers because compared to the others it's limited parts reuse. Normal troopers and even scout troopers show up in so much media they can slap a new coat of paint on them and reprint them every year, but Hoth troopers rarely reappeared.

True, but maybe they're appearance in this movie will help since it means just a new head.

Looks like someone at Hasbro put up a recap video for TVC/BS items from Toyfair:

Only a couple "new" items revealed that haven't already leaked or been officially revealed. However the last part of the video does have a new BS line of mini helmets (think of the old Titanium helmets but larger and not as big as the roleplay helmets) starting with a Stormtrooper and Mando.

Well it looks like someone at Hasbro caught this video and realized it shouldn't have been posted yet. Oh well it will probably go up again this evening.

Forgot to mention they said the helmets would be a Walmart exclusive in the US and didn't mention anything about availability outside the US.

Big product launch and the most exciting one is Sigourney looking weird? This gives me hopes for this movie.

So many figures I have no interest in buying and that look so much alike - it's so much white! Curious to see how these all sell. The only one exciting is the Target exclusive Mando for me, also.

It's not just that they look alike — we already have them, for the most part. A movie line launch that's entirely repaints except for a kind of wonky Sigourney Weaver head. Maybe Grogu's different, but who cares ... talk about mailing it in.

Hey, did anyone else spend too much money on the Starkiller deluxe set? I'd had him set up without a lit saber forEVER but went to pop in the blue blade for some photos last night and saw he has quite possibly the most stable peg I've seen for a black series saber... but it has a FLARED BASE (ba dum ching) that makes it really difficult to pop into the hilt. Did anyone else run into this? I'm wondering if I need to boil the hilt to get the blade in or not.

Hasbro has announced that the Black Series Plo Koon & Commander Wolffe 2pk will be available for preorder on Feb 26 at 1pm ET at Hasbro Pulse. Expect Premium Members to has first access.

I'll probably get that 2 Pack just because of Plo Koon. I already have Plo and Wolffe. But I like Plo Koon in that Clone Wars era gear.

Wolffe is on the new clone body, right? I definitely want that. Depending on how Plo Koon looks in hand I may keep him to replace my custom.
Assuming I don't miss out because of it being a Pulse exclusive.

As a self-proclaimed Plo Boy- A Kooninator, if you will- that 2 pack has been on my want list for a long long time. I've gotten so close to attempting a custom many times, but I'm glad that we're getting an official one- hopefully on one of the updated bodies.

Point is- as a non-Pulse member myself, and knowing how availability can be for us peasants, if any Pulse members here are willing to help a fellow Plo Bro out, let me know.

Why do they keep making him hold his saber in his left? I'm like 90% sure Plo was a righty. I hope I can get this set. But it'll probably be sold out before I even get a shot lol.
