Take the "C" part out. It's just a swappable hand so he can hold the blade tighter. The last few figures only have the weapon/trigger hands so they don't hold the knife well at all.

I would also like to point out that the hand doesn't look like it has a peg. So, this Din looks to have the new wrist joints. I'll probably get it, because its new and has those new weapons and hands. But I don't know if I wanna pay the deluxe price for it. Speculation in the comments on that also suggests the cape may be wired. I have nice capes I got from Rebel10 so idc about that as much.

Yeah. It's an actual c-grip instead of a trigger-finger hand, so it's specifically designed to hold the knife. They showed this off with the new S01E01 Mando figure on the livestream.

So, this Din looks to have the new wrist joints.

I noticed that too. And I am currently very not happy about that because, so far, I've been massively disappointed by the new wrist articulation.

I like them on jedi because it makes it easier to do better lightsaber poses. Not sure how I'll like it on someone who doesn't. Dark Trooper Gideon has them too, but I gave mine the old Gideons Darksaber, and my custom using that body also has a lighsaber, so still useful for those, imo.

How does it do that when it has significantly worse ROM than regular hinged wrists? All of the figures I have with these wrists can BARELY articulate at the wrist. It's pathetic.
