Ugh - anyone else just get Hasbro's email blast for these?

Let's play a game: were these blurbs written by a human or AI?

Honestly, it could be either/or, which is almost more egregious to me. It's that overly polished corporate speak that I'm so glad I don't have to spout to customers anymore. They're all about buzzwords and squeaky clean emotion, but to me it just lacks that human element. At this point, you're either gonna buy the thing or not; so while I suppose I can appreciate the effort, I look at the pictures of the thing far more than I read the blurb, so just show me pretty pictures and let's be done with it. 😅

It took me a second to realize the "Classic Kenner Era" in the above was reference to the TVC figures.

But yeah...cold go either way. I'm sure they have a bunch of trained monkeys with typewriters.

It's the same feeling I get when I see actual personalized text about the character on the back of the box, not just general words about the show, the saga, or the line. I know Disney can be secretive, but they can't tell you enough info about a character to fill out two sentences on the back of a box?

I just popped the text into a few AI detector sites and it comes back 75-100% AI generated.

Not sure I needed to do that with action figures being referred to as time capsules of cinematic storytelling ... Yikes.

What makes you think they're trained?

To be fair, most of my academic and professional copywriting comes back as 90% AI (even had a hearing at school) because of how I format myself and use dashes and parenthesis in those arenas.

Sorry I have ADHD and like to tangent, robot.

But seriously, it's a self-fulfilling prophecy because all these AI programs are doing is pulling from what we have put out there in the system. And what's out there in the system? Oh. People write like this and use this sort of punctuation.
