I'm skeptical that the factory can make the necessary improvements. The faces are better, but they still look like bad toys from 2004.

Do they have to re-run all new figures/packages and pulp the first batch or are they going to repaint the existing run and re-package?

I'm fully prepared to keep Palyamates as my "forever" Star Trek figures. I wish they'd have gotten a few more deep cut DS9 figures under their belt, but besides that.......

I never cared for the playmates line, but I wasn't collecting trek in the 90's. I can see the appeal though, especially with the size and depth of the line. We got left some holes with the AA/DST line... but on the whole Ill stick with that if these can't make the grade... but I'd really like a nurse chapel and women rand in 7" scale!

Thats an improvement on Archer... but It still doesn't look like Scott Bakula to me. The face should be longer and the nose really doesn't look right. Maybe it looks better from the side.

It's noticeable because Archer grew a neck as well? I agree, it's not screaming Bakula.
