Am I the only one who cares about this line? Maybe.

But damn it look at them! The whole team’s here and I wouldn’t trade them for anything no matter how expensive and frustrating this line might be to collect.

The mechsnfrom Front Mission were snap kits, but all grey and needed paint. Also came as sets.

Kinda lame they're milking them at that price separately. At least it looks colored and painless.

I have some of the earlier Bring Arts figures from Kingdom Hearts, NieR Automatica, and Xenogears. I like them, but between the high price points and not being all that familiar with much of the source material, I dropped out pretty quickly.

The Play Arts Kai Final Fantasy VII Remake Cloud and Tifa are my goto figures for those characters, even though nothing else in my collection scales with them. I regret not getting the purple dress version of Tifa when she could be had for around $50, but I haven’t checked prices on her lately.

I prefer model kits, so I am ecstatic to see them dipping into the model kit scene as well. If we can get other Final Fantasy games, and also Dragon Quest... fuck yeah, I'll be in.

Is the Dragon Quest subline ever going to continue? I desperately need a figure of Psaro, but they only ever did Alena for DQIV.

Was hoping that DQ Monsters 3 would open the door for even the Hero from DQ4, but we haven't gotten anything since Terry a few years ago.

Also currently hoping (likely in vain) that the DQ 1 and 2 remake would open those door for those heroes. But these releases are so inconsistent and borderline illogical. I know it's a common theme across all of SE, but freaking pump the breaks on FF7 and give some other games some love.

Do they have some moratorium on DQ and Chrono Trigger and Toriyama? DBZ lives eternally to pump money. Surely the CT crew is RPG + Toriyama free money forever.

I doubt there's any explicit issues for Dragon Quest, given we're about to get model kits of the Slimes and Dracky from Goodsmile. Maybe Terry didn't sell well? For Chrono Trigger, I imagine it's just Square having a lack of interest in making toys, as much as I think people want them. I'd kill for a figure of Magus, and maybe Lucca.

For Final Fantasy, I'm a weirdo that likes FFII and FFIV the best, and also Garland. No figures of those is just crazy to me. Past that though, figures based on Amano's character designs has always just been the dream in general. Final Fantasy, Elric, Vampire Hunter D, whatever. It's crazy it's never been attempted.

Well this year was Chrono Trigger's 30th anniversary and SE said earlier in the year to expect some stuff for the event, but so far we've gotten nothing. So once again, I'm holding onto the TINIEST hope that maybe we'll get a Bring Arts wave. If you said that we'd get one more wave of Bring Arts, I'd take CT over anything else just to have the them represented on the shelf. Frog just seems like he'd be a real fun figure to have.

I mean really, I'd just love for the game to be released on current systems. But if they're doing a HD-2D thing or something, I wouldn't complain.

With DQ and FF, I'd love to at least have the main protagonist from each game. I'd take the whole crew from DQ8 and would be tempted to go all-in on FF6, but otherwise just for the sake of space and price, I'd be good with the protags. Well. And Auron. Because Kingdom Hearts.

Bought the Hard Edge version of Cloud to avoid the problems the first release had with the hips, only for the arm twist off because the ball going into the chest was too tight. God, these figures suck

Boo. Yeah, even in my first one I wasn't confident in his arm movement so I took the whole thing apart and gave it a couple drops of shock oil.
