Queen Studios InArt 1/12 DC Figures

Robo's review of Selina has me mad that the actual release is still so far off. Although I did laugh at whatever the hell happened to make his unmasked head look more like Minnie Driver than Anne Hathaway.

Yeah to me it reads like a direct response to the Arkham feedback and an acknowledgment that that scale is not changing and there will be even more product that could also break from 1/12.

Because heaven forbid we rectify this mistake.

Ope, we MEANT to do that. And by the way, we know we branded ourselves as InArt 1:12, but, uh...we are...InArt ACTION now! Yeah! So, nyah. Suck it.

Just seems to confirm what we all assumed - that they viewed "1/12" more as a style than an actual measurement. I'm fine with it and I did not expect them to retool that Arkham Batman. As long as they're including precise measurements and companion images in all of their solicitations (which may not be an issue if they continue to send out samples this far in advance) I don't care what they call their product line.

I mean, whatever. It is what it is. They're beautiful figures and it's not like I was displaying them together anyway. I just wish the messaging was better all around.

Was this always meant to be a rolling scale?
Say that at the beginning.

Did you screw up and make AO Batman bigger? Say so.

And certainly don't advertise yourself as 1/12 if you're not going to consistently be 1/12. 1/12 scale is 1/12 scale. Period, the end.

Whatever size the rest of the line lands at, I just need anything comic book to fit in with MAFEX and co. Especially the Alex Ross Superman they've shown.

You'll notice he has a regular S shield and not the one from Kingdom Come. I hope that means they're pulling from Ross and Krueger's Justice, where he drew damn near every DC character I'd ever want a figure of. InArt Metal Men could be on the table.

Late to the party but I got my Inart dark knight returns (a site called Hsunny Toys still has a few at a reasonable price).

Pretty cool figure.

Trying to decide if I want to double dip on Batman into the LPZZ or just stick with Inart.
