I absolutely plan on doing this if I can get ahold of a second SNAKE sometime next year.
 
OOF! Hasbro moving up the AWE and Sentry post plus the other joe stuff hitting, is gonna really make me cut back. I had four generals preordered but I don't see that lasting. Will have to make a call soon on the air troopers as well
 
I just...keep the "army builders" in production, if not in stock. Don't let them sell out, just go from 1 left back to preorders. Then make however many preorders you get. Repeat a few times. No unsold stock, literally printing money. That way, picking up one at a time when budgets allow it is possible.

I don't understand the mentality of "sell as few as possible" with these fucking companies (all of them, glaring directly past FMF & straight at Hasbro & NECA).

I mean stock that doesn’t sell just costs them money. You’d rather make not enough and sell out than to make too many and not sell out.

They did do a second run of wave 1 so we might get that here for wave 2, but even then there are MOQs for these things. They’re not gonna do a second run unless they think they can sell a couple thousand at least

It is worth noting that these secondary lines are incredibly niche. They might feel bigger because of their discussion in toy places, but there’s not like a casual audience for things like Monster Force because no one is buying this off the shelf at Target or Walmart. This is alone that’s only offered through BBTS and you either have to be checking the site daily or know about it to actually know they exist

I have to say I'm eager to get my hands on the General figures I ordered. Thunderbolt Ross about to report for duty on my Hulk shelf.... and I got a body all ready for that Joe Colton head, though I couldn't quite work out the kung fu grip
