It was absolutely a magic game. Totally accessible for casual gamers and people who didn't know the movies well. For a tension-based game, it was very chill in a weird way. Like, it didn't have that fixated, strategy-optimizing, time-shaving quality that a lot of asymmetrical horror like DBD has with its super repetitive gameplay loops. Your objective might pivot like 5 times in one long match based on how messy things turn. Just a perfect Friday night game.I played the shit out of the game.
I was usually short shorts girl because she was sassy and could run. I would buy her in a heartbeat.
I mastered killing Jason, first to the sweater to kick it off. Love trolling a trolling Jason with a chase.
That game had so many emergent moments and helped me get more into the genre itself (I hate certain gore and jump scares). One time we fixed the boat and left the third guy behind because Jason was coming. Jason swam after us and we exited by a pixel.
Another time we grabbed the four seater car in a panic (there's also a two seater with a full back seat), but thought it was the two so I left two other counselors behind to die.
And then had amble opportunities to pick up others along the escape, but I gotta look out for my short shorts and myself.
God, I loved it. And again, not super deep in the franchise and really not one for PvP. But it was magic.
Also, Tiffany was my main, too! I commissioned a custom of her way back. If I remember, she's mostly based on the Mattel Cassie Sandsmark Wonder Girl figure.
