NECA '87 Toon TMNT

Another figure where the torso looks to be basically static. I don't think the crossed arms are enough to get me to bite on this one. Unless they do another surprise discount code if sales are soft.
 
I'm actually going to NYCC, but it sounds like it won't actually be there, just that I'll have an opportunity to order it at the booth.

Separately, I wonder what we can expect for displays and reveals. Still holding out hope that they officially announce the Sewer Lair Kitchen.

That's awesome that you'll be there. Can you wear like a mind-control hat so we can remote pilot you around all the booths? :)

Damn, was hoping the newest Toon offerings were going to be a part of this last Geekout drop.

Looks like it's just some Funkp POPs. Bummer.

Looks like people are finding these already. Didn’t realize there were two vacation sets for all of the Turtles.

I would be surprised if these are hard to find.

Any word on quantities? I’m guessing they won’t be huge sellers as well, but curious if NECA is shipping fewer which could still make it difficult. They shipped a lot of Vacation B&R and may course correct with the granny/baby set since the other one shelf-rotted around me. That’s the only one I’m looking to score.
 
Damn, figures we can't start a month without a bunch of new goodies. Yeah, I want the Bebop and Rocksteady the most. I'll get the vacation Turtles eventually.
 
The three new two-packs are up on Target now but out of stock. Not sure they were ever in stock.

Came across the Pizza Club figures last night and decided to grab Raph. I wanted the dumb sai and kind of like the alt head. I cracked him open today and was surprised to see NECA changed the paint job again. They brought back the cel-shading and I guess that’s probably true of the other Pizza Club reissues? Kind of irritating they won’t just pick a lane and stick to it.

Do you have a comparison shot? I didn’t realize they were reissues. Thought NECA just shipped some old stock to the Target.

On a related note, though, NECA should absolutely have a set of the classic toon turtles always available.

I'm pretty certain the original Pizza Club figures have the cel shading too, it's just not as pronounced as it had been on previous turtles. So I think that's just par for the course there.
