NECA 2012 Turtles

I liked the Foot bots in the cartoon, but I don't need them.
I'm looking for Slash, Leatherhead, Dog Pound, and some of the other larger villains, as well as Casey, April and Splinter.
 
Sorry, they're not gonna make any of those. They said it was Foot or nothing. 🤷‍♂️

That's how it goes right? If you don't get what you're looking for you threaten to sell it all to "spite" whomever "wronged" you? :LOL:
 
some of the other characters, like Dogpound and Leatherhead, were huge in the show. will be interesting to see if NECA makes them. NECA has made some large figures with the comic Triceraton and Leatherhead, so large 2012 figures seem possible
 
Yeah, Leatherhead will have to be as big as the Mirage figure at least, and that's going to be exciting to see. At least with him they can get away with doing an easy "older and more scarred from Dimension X" repaint, too.
 
Looking forward to Tiger Claw, he would have been among my top requests, so I'm glad he's coming. Leatherhead, Metalhead, Slash, Dog Pound, Fish Face, Spinter, April, and Casey are my top picks.
 
Splinter is by far my biggest want. To me, 2012 Splinter is the best Splinter we've ever gotten in TMNT media. His fights with Shredder before the turtles were ready to face him were epic and he had loads of great lines and moments.

After that, Leatherhead is a definite, as well as Tiger Claw, Slash, and Metal Head. I'd take Karai and Shinigami if they ever make them. As awesome as those are though, I think 2012's takes on a lot of other characters were, while every bit as unique, not as strong. I can't see myself wanting Bebop or Rocksteady. April and Casey I'm on the fence about, I don't particularly care for 2012's take on them but they are integral characters so maybe I'll get them.

Agree on Splinter. 2012 revolutionized the character for me. Previously I really didn't care much about him.
 
I just wish Splinter wasn't such a road cone design. They might have to do a cloth robe for him to get him into any combative poses.

Yeah, he definitely might be difficult to work well as a figure, especially if they decide on a plastic robe. A cloth robe seems to be a necessity so that he can do anything more than static poses. IIRC, Mirage and 87 Splinters both had cloth robes, but 2012 is a much bigger figure.

EDITED TO ADD: Has anyone seen the foot soldiers listed anywhere? Supposedly they go up today but I've been checking sites and haven't found them.

Haven't been able to grab these guys yet, but got my preorder at BBTS. Let's see how long it takes to actually get them.
 
Ordered 2 Foot Soldiers direct from NECA (justifies the international postage cost and can't have just one). At least this order shouldn't be split up for shipping.

Hopefully they keep offering direct sales (and hopefully 2-3 figures at once for postage) as it doesn't look like the UK is getting this line normally.

Definitely in for pretty much everything so far (Foot Bots, Tiger Claw, Splinter, Casey, Slash). Hopefully we get April, Karai, Rat King, Leatherhead, Kraang bots (a 2-pack of regular and blue would be nice), Kraang Subprime, Fishface, Rahzar, Bebop, Rocksteady, Shinigami, Renet, Savanti, a Triceraton, and probably missing a few more.
 
I don't like that in a recent interview, Trevor said that Spider Bytez is at the bottom of his list of figures he'll do.

I don't care to fill a line with your personal preferences. I want a complete lineup. It's the same reason he has yet to give us an 87 Ray Fillet. Because HE doesn't like it.

But give me a Ray and Merdude/Alim two pack and call it a day. Give me Spider-Man Bytez.
