Mortal Kombat Klassic figures by McFarlane Toys

Half cloaked Reptile sounds somewhat interesting. I wonder if his colors will be a darker green since the single carded version seems to be sporting the brighter player 2 color palate

I like that alternate heads for Reptile and Scorpion, but not enough to buy the 2-packs for just those if there are going to be standard single carded options.

IMO the regular releases need all of those accessories for me to get them.

But really wish this was just a better company making them

Got normal SubZero today, no frills. He can get into some decent prefight poses though. Comes with basically nothing, just alt. hands (cupping ones so maybe pre-snowball forming pose) and a stand. I'll probably get the Scorpion 2pk just to outfit the Scorpion figure which was mostly what I cared about. I'll get single release Reptile, barebones as he is, and likely keep the Red Raiden or pair his parts up with blue Raiden. Beyond that that's as deep as I care to go with this line. So Todd got me for a few extra figures to make 1 that I wanted. Oh well. Glad I'm not a huge Mortal Kombat buff.

I bought them all. Just finish me already.

I want it to go on the record that I’m not responsible for this. Even I only purchased the single carded Reptile and Raiden. The extra accessories are tempting but I don’t need a bunch of bloody variants and player 2 palate swapped characters

It's crazy how bare bones these figure are, especially compared to some other equally priced fighting game figures out right now. I wasn't impressed by the first few enough to go deep into the line. I'll cave and order Raiden I think, but I'm really not impressed by these at all.

I want to go on record saying that I don't need anyone to legitimize my bad financial decisions. I'm just happy Walmart allows people like me into the store still. Last time I was there I saw someone touchdown a half-drank orange soda and then stand in the puddle while berating the teenage cashier as he tried to clean up around her with paper towels. Mortal Kombat seems like the perfect property for this establishment's exclusives.

I'm out. Obviously I was like the spearhead of the movement on this forum but I submit. There's too many other cool figures coming out that actually have accessories and detail. And articulation.

McFarlane Store finally sent out my set of series 1 and Subzero/Mileena 2 pack.

I'll decide where I go with this series after getting those in. So far, the only thing it has going for it is the willingness to do Mileena and Kitana. Otherwise, Storm's offerings were vastly superior. And until I see Jax, classic Cage, and Shang Tsung, I won't be fully sold.

That said, I actually just finally played MK1 over the weekend (after having it in the cellophane for probably 6 months), and my MK kick is fired back up again. And now I'm bummed Todd only did one 12 inch statue for that. I want a whole series.

I was surprised by how much I liked the basic no frills Sub Zero I got from this line. Is he perfect, far from it. Is he good enough for a line I'm not a total devotee of and just wanted a blue ninja that looks like he's from 1995 to stand on a shelf? Yes.
