Mety Toys/LingJiHun TMNT Figures

I checked with my order with 33Toys and I paid $120 for both Mikey and Donnie, so if he asks for $20 more I'll still only be paying $70 per figure, $80 if I misinterpreted what someone else said and it's $20 per figure.

$120 per figure would probably be the absolute limit on my interest in these figures. I'd give them some leeway as I really like the ones I have and anticipate going all in on the forthcoming enemies, but getting into the $135 and $150 territory is a bit crazy. They're not approaching Hot Toys quality. Those prices would limit my interest even for Mafex stuff.
Yeah shipping went up $10 each turtle but you don't have to pay it they'll remove from box and send in bubble wrap for the pre ordered $120 price.

Pay them quickly before they cancel on you.
Oh, trust me, I'm done with them entirely after these ship. Lol

I just read them the riot act last week. After they demanded payment for the LPZZ Deathstroke in mid-December, and then "processed" it until I messaged them--again, end of last week. Demanded a refund in full, which they still tried to demand I pay conversion fees, which I refused. Meanwhile, 5k got it in stock that very day, asked me for a second payment, and I just got it yesterday. Great figure!

Bombusbee sssssuuuucks. So much. Every single dealing I've had with them, there has been SOME kind of issue. How they got a positive reputation is beyond me. I'm done. I'll get Donnie and Mikey and move on. Too many more reliable options out there.

Yeah, once I get the other 2 brothers, I am done with the line. I don't need a Shredder, or any other adversaries to go with them.

If they did a killer Casey or April, I might be tempted, but I'm fine with the brothers.

The Bebop and Rocksteady are must have's for me. Bebop was always my favorite and Rocksteady comes with so much. I've never been a fan of Slash at all but the Lingjihun version looks amazing, and I don't say that lightly. Baxter looks enticing as well, so I'm trying to figure how to get the next wave without selling a kidney. Who's gonna buy just ONE foot soldier? I'd be safer buying none.

Shredder is the one I'm most iffy about but I also don't have a Shredder besides the Neca toon V2 one which I hate. But yeah, already sure that I'll get the rest of the bad guys plus at least 2 ninja grunts.

Also, paid for Don and Mike just to be the first person Gundamit ships to lol.

Ok so the articulated shells are kinda neat, because once you bend the torso, you can position them in such a way that it'll still look natural without the shell riding up and revealing the buttocks or being too low while exposing the neck.
I only just came in to find this thread after having my Raph and Leo for about a week. Initially I couldn't be happier, and I even told a buddy it was one of the most perfect toy-collecting experiences I've ever had to open these and find they are all in good condition and work properly, but after a few days I've got some issues.

Thankfully I don't have the issue of paint/finish peeling that some people seem to be having, but I think that these really needed to be packed with a set of posing explanations to fully disclose what is and isn't meant to move, or in which ways. I kept seeing people say the shell is on a ball joint and hinge, so I didn't think anything of the side to side movement when sliding them up and down as I posed them, but it turns out that the ball and socket isn't a full ball, it's flattened at the sides to not turn as much, so what you can't see under the shell is the rather thin connecting rod between ball and hinge stressing until my Raph's shell twisted off suddenly. A piece of paper explaining how this articulates would have helped, but also the articulation seems a bit over-engineered and delicate to survive long and I think I'm going to have to devise a replacement for all four turtles long term so that the shells don't just twist off them in turn eventually.

It’s a shame they didn’t make the ‘ball’-plug a metal piece, and I think long term Ralph’s sai might need replacing with metal versions as they are suitably thin and may snap just from trying to get them in and out of his hands

I've been going through my toy boxes, looking for things I'd like to part with, and came apon these Turtles. Playmates 1990 Classic. Still dig these a lot, they're very much like comic versions of movie Turtles. They've been in my multimedia TMNT display for years. Had to put them in storage after the last move and now I think I'm ready to part with them.

Im NOT into these turtles BUT i do like that Shredder and Splinter. this body type fits them. On the turtles, not so much. they look too muscular, they should have some muscle but not too much.

My package was delivered on this temps in the teens day, so I've not even opened it up yet. I'll give it until tomorrow to warm up in the apartment before I crack the seal on the outer shipping bag they (and a 3rd party Joker) arrived in.

I'm not too concerned. The number of TMNT figures from this line to follow the 4 brothers is going to amount to a gut punch for my wallet. In addition to the round out of whatever McFarlane DC puts up it's going to be an expensive year for me, a guy who started with "I'm only buying Marvel Legends X-Men," and here I sit.

4 Foot Soldiers seems enough to look like a decent turnout to flank the Shredder right? 6? 8? Hopefully they're cheaper than the $80-$150 range we're seeing from this line.

Definitely getting that Bebop, Rocksteady and Slash though. Leatherhead is probably the one I'm least excited about, mostly because so many other lines have their knockoff redneck gator character.

Gundamit has shipped my Bros! Could've been a more perfect moment because I just got the Fury Toys Splinter to complete their family.
