Mety Toys/LingJiHun TMNT Figures

Seeing a lot of AI art these look like he just fed the models from their first convention they were shown through AI. Between the texture and the heavy "wash" these just look grungy. The lighting looks off and unnatural. I think this is mostly just someone who's excited to see the figures like we are, but they don't look like production paints.

Leatherhead's "hat" on the "ground" should tell you all you need to know.

Im gonna be the guy this time: we sure these aren't AI or Photoshopped? His bio says he AI enhances and the like. These colors might not be real.
You know, I see that now, as well as his other posts, and I think you may be right. Mother fucker. AI gets me yet again. I am totally going to get identity thefted one day.

I know InArt was at a show, or having a showing. I assumed maybe Mety was at that.

Sorry everyone, false alarm. Yet another reason to ban me: spreading misinformation.

I just noticed his tail was unpainted, too. Damn. Got excited and jumped the gun.

Hallelurya, I finally have Donnie and Mikey from Bombusbee. Only took two months.

Having them in hand, man...I want this line to continue forever, but I know that likely not going to be the case. But if we can at least get the things we've been shown, I'll be happy. But if these and B&R are it...whew, doggy. What figures.

The only issues I have with these are:

1) I'm used to Donnie being taller than everyone else and leaner.
2) I have no idea what I am meant to do with most of these accessories of Donnie's. I wish there were instructions.

Most of them have to do with his doc ock arm.

Hey Rick is it because you selected boat shipment it took this long?

Yeah they are great figures all around glad you finally can check them out.

As a product of the 80s/90s I'm fine with each turtle not wearing their personality on their sleeve, or all over their body as it were. Variance in size that's marginal is fine, but this whole need to change the size and body type of each turtle or cover them in some sort of "signature flair" items really does nothing for me. Donatello I think gets it the worst. Now it seems like he practically has to have the Steve Urkel glasses rolled out at least half the time we see him in series and movies. Mikey seems to have inherited being the "every-turtle" which is covering him with teenage stuff that went with pretty much all four of the turtles in the 90s and it's all been consolidated onto him like some sort of living pop culture time capsule. On figures I don't mind if they include SOME stuff that makes sense for that turtle to have, but part of the reason I lost interest with HeatBoys was them shoehorning the boxing gloves onto Raph, as if he's really going to wear a boxing glove (or pair) into a fight with ninjas, cybernetic or otherwise. I think the least liked iteration for me was the series where all the different turtles are now different species of turtles. Between that and the zany art I didn't bother to watch beyond the first episode. The 2012 CGI series I didn't particularly like the character models on but the stories and personalities were able to shine through and make it a likeable series for me.

They should have gotten a different voice actor for Donnie in that one though, as Rob Paulson will always be the voice of Raphael to me, and I never was really able to overlook that connection in the show.

As for who we get in this line before it's on its back like a doomed turtle, I'd hope we get more than just what we've seen. Leatherhead is the only one I'm iffy on as I already own the Rage/Fury/Whatever Toys Crocker. I'd hope that we'd see a Casey, April, Krang, and a few other notable mutates before it's ripped away from Mety/Lingjihun (unless they go rogue and just make them no-name 3rd party turtle figures like Fury/Rage).
