I know I may as well be a mutant in 80s Genosha, but I too lament the transition.

Who knows, some Hollywood talk says the Gunnverse is gonna go away anyway with the buy out and politicking

My personal sources have good batting averages, but I wouldn't put any money on it at the moment.

I'm saying it out of exasperation for DC and their initiatives as a whole. Would love them to get traction.

Found all three Supergirls on EB Canada. Normal, Jacket, Puppy.

Funny enough, Canada says Apr 24th, US Amazon says Jul, Canada Amazon said January 2027.
 
Ironically, I think softgoods would've worked better for Lobo, and a plastic coat for Supergirl. Feels a bit too bulky as-is. Bummer that the deluxe Supergirl is the only one without the smirking head; that's the one I think looks the best.

The regular one appears to come with a non-smirking head though.

I think it is a hood. Is it not a hood on the Page Punchers version, or is it one of those Obsidian/Mr. Bones multipurpose type of deals?

Same thing happened when McFarlane took over the DC license. The McFarlane movie figures are inconsistent with the movie figures Mattel made.
 
So am I the only one that finds these new Supergirl head sculpts…and I’m being kind here…unflattering? It’s okay if I am. I’m just checking.

I’m not familiar with the actress as I watch very few live action movies or television shows,, so I can’t speak to the likeness.
 
I think it's pretty good. I didn't think they could do it. She has very distinct features, and especially how McFarlane tends to improve in hand, I'm optimistic. But off the photos alone, I can tell it's her.

Right. I guess my complaint should be moreso that the deluxe is the only one that doesn't come with the smirking head, which I think is the more spot-on likeness, and feels the most like the character (at least what we've seen of her so far). The deluxe is my preferred version cuz of the accessories, but I like the heads of the other ones better.

I kinda agree with Xavion in that the other ones aren't the best, but to be fair, stoic faces always look a little off to me, since they're so void of life and character. Millie definitely does have a unique look to her, so I can see how her likeness may be a bit difficult to nail. I'm just being nitpicky- always finding something to complain about. 😅

Smirk is really the best, but I also just like a smirk on any figure. Emotion over stoic.

Also worth noting the regular and the deluxe have different hairs.
