McFarlane DC Multiverse

If "classic" is your operational word here, then get the CE one.

The Page Punchers one or the Collector Edition?

I'm debating making a more Silver Age display and he's pretty big on the Crisis poster they keep using. Is Crisis Silver Age, or end of?
Technically it’s near the end of the Bronze Age, but there were very few changes in DC costumes between the Silver and Bronze Ages, so I wouldn’t sweat it.

My goodness, I checked the price on Page Punchers Shazam when I saw the new one. Can’t believe how high that figure’s value is. It’s like the secondary market tanked except for this guy and collector Wonder Woman.

I want to sell him right now and wait for the proper classic….but is the cape collar on the new version wired? Hard to tell, I almost thought it was a hood at first glance.

Thrilled for Gangbuster and Jack Knight. 10/10 face sculpt for Jack. Larfleeze….I want to be happy but he’s going to be so out of scale. Just way too small.

Definitely an 80s-90s fan in McFarlane somewhere with Gangbuster and Black Condor. Probably too late to hope for a Zauriel.

Freddy Freeman’s cape isn’t wired, so TBD on the new Shazam. Looking at photos I’m not too sure.

The Question is also high on the secondary market, though he’s gone down since the announcement of the new one.

Dang, I'll second that. Lobo and Krem look really frickin' cool. Don't know a thing about Krem, and something tells me he may be a one-and-done kind of villain, but I may pick him up on a sale. Not sure if I'll go full Hog on Lobo; depends on the movie. Since his jacket doesn't appear to be softgoods, I worry it may warp a bit if he's on the bike too long. Reminds me of the Death Metal Batman- he had a slit in his jacket too, but I could never get him on that bone bike without warping the jacket.

Supergirl looks good, though, and baby Krypto is adorable. Think I saw there was a rumor there was gonna be a trenchcoat Supergirl as well, like how she looked at the end of Superman.

Bummer that this is probably the last movie that Todd will do anything for. Just for cohesion's sake moving forward, I hope the Mattel offerings don't skew too far from how these look. Some integration would be nice, or at least not having to buy some of these characters again.

I'll buy Krem but likely pass on the rest.

I might get the Space Hog but it's so underwhelming compared to the comic version that I already have from McF. So I'll probably only get it if it gets drastically reduced at some point.

Just realized Lobo doesn't have a cigar either. Not the biggest deal- I'm sure there was some stipulation about him doing any tobacco products. Hell, it wasn't that long ago he couldn't even do guns with the figures. At least the Momoa likeness is still pretty good without one.

Ahahahahaha Lobo stole my look!
Not even mad: the world needs more big dudes with sleeveless leather trenchcoats!
Figures look great, and I hope etsy sellers are working on a wearable version of that coat.

Yeah, I was just noticing how they've slowly been filling out some of the more minor Justice League rosters. Agent Liberty and Black Condor with rumors of Bloodwynd. Or Justice League Dark characters like Detective Chimp and Ragman. Very few unmade Leaguers are left. If Todd kept going, who would he even make, Silver Sorceress or Mystek?

Supergirl movie figures aren't for me, but that happy Lobo head is great! Pretty solid line-up for the film.

In related news, my 89 Joker from GameStop arrived, but he was the Sky Escape variant. Oh well. Hopefully I'll find the regular in the store, as this one is too fun to part with. Sky Escape Joker was my go-to figure to fight Batman as a kid, as I liked him more than the Toy Biz and Super Powers options. He had that great color-changing head! (Didn't get the far superior Knock Out Joker until I was an adult.)

I'm so sad that Mcfarlane is losing the license, because next year when Man of Tomorrow comes out or any other DCU movie, the figures are going to be inconsistent. Anyone else feel the same way or have i gotten it all wrong?
