Normally I'm pretty quick on the draw but MTS sold out immediately, followed by Amazon which sold out while it was in my cart. EE and BBTS managed to work for me though. Glad the 89 Joker is secured finally.

EE is showing the variant red suit Joker as included in the mix even for the single release listing. Oh no...

That was a pain in the ass. Was eventually able to get an order in for Joker and Black Canary, I skipped the rest. BBTS was so bad I thought it might crash lol I've personally never seen that over there.

I feel confident this was my last-ever McFarlane DC preorder rush. Unless they come out with comic Ivy or Harley (or something way out there, like a Lois Lane), this should just about be it for me.

Walmart (I know, I know) still has Black Canary and Lobo up. I can't find Joker but that's probably me. I didn't try that hard. I'm only interested in BC in this batch.

Edit: Walmart has come through with every recent McFarlane preorder I've made.

Gah. The Platinum Canary and Supergirl should have been the regular releases. Joker has the wrong tie for that colorscheme, wish they had gone “mime” but I’m a sucker for the old toy decos.

I mean in all fairness, supergirl is marketed as “First Appearance Supergirl” so it’s supposed to be Kara-Zor-El as she appeared in the 1960’s. Her variant is is more or less a half baked variant of her costume from the 80’s minus the headband. Wouldn’t make sense to call that version a first appearance figure. It’s a bit disingenuous I would think

I imagine the comic Catwoman & Poison Ivy (which I think may end up being Hush-based also) will probably be another hoop jumping ordeal. Probably not as bad as Nicholson Joker though. Never seen BBTS outright lag/crash before until today!

Walmart cancelled by JLA Flash, so I'm still hesitant to use them for anything of importance. Not to mention them sending me endless Armored Green Lanterns instead of Year One Batman & Jim Gordons after like 7 attempts at playing their game. Plus multiple "in stock" orders of Max Shreck late at night that then got cancelled by the time I woke up.

That was a pain in the ass, but I’m glad I was able to get my preorder in for Black Canary and Vigilante.

Now I can relax and go back to complaining about how much they suck.

plus I added a Black Canary on it's own since neither version is supposedly in that case assortment (which seems odd).

Joker is the only one that I skipped. I know that is supposed to be similar to the Jack N. Joker from the Michael Keaton movie and I couldn't care less about that. I'm not a live action figure collector and I have several versions of Joker that I prefer to this one.

Vigilante and Osiris are the favorites for me, but I'm happy to be getting Canary and Freddy also.

I'll likely buy the chase Canary if and only if I'm lucky enough to find her in the wild. Otherwise I might wait to see what version they put of her in the rumored two-pack with Ollie in a few months.

The "on sale" bundle is still available for those wanting Joker or Canary on MTS, you'd just have to be willing to move the other figures.

That was yucky.

Would have grabbed a whole case of Jokers at Todd’s store, but all that was gone quick. Got Joker order in at ee while BBTS was lagging, got the bbts order as well, decided to grab the Platinum-heavy case at ee, then said “fuck it” and grabbed the still-available bundle at Todd’s to close the gaps. I think I’m gonna end up with an extra regular Freddie out of that. I’ll keep all my various Joker orders, I want those extras of what will likely be a once-in-a-lifetime figure.

I’m guessing it will be the classic version. All of the elements to make a classic version seem to be there between the standard and platinum versions. She would just need modified boots.

I guess the platinum version is from Justice League Unlimited?

I forgot these were going up today. Mainly just wanted Canary but I caved and ordered Joker and Supergirl too through Gamestop mostly for free shipping. For once I'm okay with chase or non-chase so ordering blind doesn't matter, though I wouldn't hate it if it's possible to get both versions of Canary at some point.

I think I was able to get my Jokers because MTS always put the new figures up a couple minutes before 12pm, but you have to search to find them. I even futzed around for about two minutes with changing the quantity and my payment and it went through fine.
