McFarlane DC Multiverse

I'm really surprised Todd didn't do Stargirl or S.T.R.I.P.E. in this line. When it first started I thought they were a shoe-in, especially S.T.R.I.P.E.! Big freakin' robot just seems like Todd's wheelhouse.
This is my biggest issue with the line outside of inaccurate costume details. Yes, the character selection has been pretty awesome as of late, but there are still too many WTFs when it comes missing characters considering it’s been seven years
and there have been hundreds of releases.

It will never feel like a coherent line to me. Just a random collection of DC characters on figures that range from God awful to very good with little rhyme or reason.

It still makes me laugh that at a time when female figures were still mega-sparse in the line as opposed to pretty sparse, he managed to make room for one from a team book he drew. It's almost kinda sweet; even DCUC never got around to Jade.

The only reason we have as many female characters in the line as we do is because the factory in China mistakenly added a 0 to the end of McFarlane’s order for Knightfall Catwoman and sold the extra bodies to Todd at a deep discount.

Wait, is this true?

Jade won the fan vote, and they still made her a chase, so I was less hen enthused, but glad to have her either way.

Yeah Jade was one I wanted and never tracked down.. So frustrating that a few of the figures he made that I would have paid money for (Jade, Arkkiss Chummuck) were retail chase figures I never found. I want them, but I don't want them for triple retail plus shipping, so...

Wait, there was a fan vote? I totally missed that. Who else was in it?
It was at a con during one of their panels, NYCC maybe. The only other one I remember is Bizarro, which they made anyway of course.

Edit…. It was NYCC 2024 and the other two were Guardian and classic Eradicator. All have been made at this point.
