Mattel MOTU Chronicles Movie Figures

I almost missed Scareglow at my local Wal-Mart. I have been checking every day for a couple weeks because they rearranged the toy aisles and keep putting out new stuff to fill them. I didn't however check on Thursday. I wanted to but didn't. On Friday I went, and they had one Scareglow left.

Which I grabbed so fast time travel might have been achieved. But Wednesday nothing, Thursday I didn't go, and Friday they still had one. I don't know if they got them Thursday or Friday and sold through them. I guess they could have put them out Friday morning, because I didn't get there until like 2:00 PM.

But I'll keep looking in case they get more.

I get the feeling Scareglow is going to be a lot easier to find than people think.

Just found Scareglow is available online at Canadian Tire (think somewhere between Home Depot and Walmart), both online and in store. If Canadian Tire is getting Scareglow when they usually only have a few toy items, except at Christmas, then it is probably going to be widely available with the movie release.

Although they want $40Cdn for it so that is an easy pass for me.

I think Scareglow will end up being pretty easy too. Especially like you said, the closer it gets to April 25th when all the movie merch drops. I wish some of the Vintage Collection Masterverse stuff would start showing up along with him though.

Fairly late, my PC browser has had strange issues with accessing Articulated Thoughts, but I got Scareglow in earlier today.

It's crazy to me how smooth and clean this figure is for the price. I definitely have some gripes, the range of motion on the torso and shoulder could be significantly better, and no thigh cuts does hold back Some poses. That said I really love them using the joint cuts as mounting points for the shoulder armor. And ball hinges for ankles and wrists is exactly as it SHOULD be.

I gotta get some male 200X figures at some point to see if I can fudge them in together, or maybe kitbash. Evil-Lyn is Close Enough for my tastes.

Either way, thanks again for hooking me up @RicksNerdLife ! Means a ton!

You are most welcome. Glad you like!!

I had some issues with the page loading last week and then I had to log back in a couple days ago ( I never logged out). So maybe something behind the scenes?

Scareglow looks great, but now that he is popping up seemingly more and more I'll wait a bit. Mostly because right now he is only really available for $40Cdn (+tax) and I'm sure be available at more locations sooner or later.

Sorry if this is old news, but Amazon.ca has a listing, with pics, of a new toy/roleplay Power Sword from the upcoming movie. This is not the high end ($800US?) version, or the foam LARP version. Rather it is a toy version with light up effects, movie dialogue and vibration. It is about 27" long so a little undersized but again it is a "toy." Overall I think it looks great, and for $50Cdn I'll definitely be picking one up.

They're listing all the new He-Man stuff as releasing in FUCKING SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER. What the fuck is going on at Amazon.ca besides the usual of them sucking at everything?

Chronicles Teela and Evil-Lyn are fall, but the others should be April, I think - at least here in the US.

Pretty sure the entire first run at movie product is supposed to start dropping between late April and the beginning of the film release - because fucking of course. Why would you -start- releasing kids' toys for a movie after the movie isn't even in theatres anymore?

I was just going by this: https://toynewsi.com/241-61586

Masters of the Universe Chronicles Evil-Lyn Action Figure
SRP: $24.99 |Ages: 6Y+ |
Available Fall 2026

Masters of the Universe Chronicles Teela Action Figure
SRP: $24.99 |Ages: 6Y+ |
Available Fall 2026

The rest are all Spring 2026. Also, Teela and Evil-Lyn are noticeably absent from the Mattel Creations preorder page as well.

Not that I at all doubt they're releasing merch that late into the year- probably to coincide with the home release, but Amazon is also notorious for putting placeholder dates. As we all know, nothing - no price, no date, etc. is ever set in stone.

Oh yeah, I know. I'm not disagreeing with you. I'm saying I think Amazon.ca's release dates are out to lunch. Or, I guess, Mattel is out to lunch if they think it's a good idea to release a toy power sword (presumably) two months after the movie exits theatres.
