Justice
for Starhawk!
I hope Scott Neitlich never gets near a figure line I collect ever again.
I'm curious about this as well. Does Kyle's appointment point toward 1/10 or 1/12?I'm really ready to start collecting some 1/12 scale Legends-adjacent DC characters; is that the kind of stuff he do?
Agreed.Well I hope Scott Neitlich never gets a job that requires people to interact with him ever again!
Disliking what McFarlane Toys has done with the DC license is not about hating Todd. Why folks dislike what McFarlane Toys' has done with DC have been expounded upon at nauseum, so I'm not going to repeat those reasons here, but let's not reduce all of that to a dislike of the personality that is Todd McFarlane.Remember, hating Todd doesn’t make Mattel magical. They lost the license for valid reasons. Have those reasons even been addressed?
Toy collectors have long memories. His YouTube videos during the pandemic where he made up more crap about his time at Mattel didn't help.I've never understood the level of outright hate for that guy. Did he run over everyone's dog or something? He's been out of the game for years at this point.
Jeremy Padawer. Good God, Jeremy Padawer. The only person I've ever seen who is better at self-aggrandizing than Neitlich is currently sitting in the oval office.
Okay, look--I like Dave. I have never had a problem with Dave personally, and he has been decent to me.Yeah, fourteen months out is a long time to speculate. Mattel is notoriously secretive, notoriously cheap, and has layers of processes and bureaucracy added on to the layers of bureaucracy at Warner Consumer Products. Who are also notoriously difficult to work with. The various members of the 4H talk about how Mattel practically handcuffed them. You’ll notice that David Vonner is no longer at Mattel either.
My attitude is be careful what you wish for.
