Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

I placed an order for both Vintage Teela and Samurai He-Man in one order, the former as in-stock, the latter as PO. Does MC wait til everything is in stock to ship, or will they ship each as they have them?

I think they do wait until they have it all in stock NORM. I'm not 100% on that, but maybe 97.3%. Still, I'd asy they'll have it all in soon since people are already finding Samurai He-Man at Wal-Mart.

I hate I missed Samurai He-Man on Creations. I missed him there, and Wal-Mart cancelled my pre order. I'm not having good Samurai luck. I must be Ronin Super Camel.

Also, nice pick-up Dark Centaur. That Hordak figure is great. He looks great in that pic too. Is Hordak chillin' at the beach? But I love the New Eternia stuff. I really hope Mattel continues Masterverse come next year when the movie year has passed just because of New Eternia and all the characters I still want to get in NE style.
 
@Super Camel As it turns out, they did ship Teela separately. Just got a notification saying she shipped, and that the other part of my order (Samurai) has not. Glad they didn't wait, but Samurai He-Man is supposed to be in stock at MC next week anyway. I probably could have waited.
 
NICE! I always prefer companies to just ship out what they have when they have it. I'm glad your Teela is on the way NORM. Mine is too. I just got the shipping notice for it a bit ago. I put Samurai He-Man in my Mattel Creations wish list hoping they get it back in. I've got him on wish lists at Mattel and Wal-Mart. Hopefully I can get him somewhere.

I thought I ordered two Teelas, but I only ordered one. I’m now worried about bad QC. It’s been an issue on at least a couple Origins figures that came exclusively from Creations (Dragstor was missing his backpack, Sharella had eyes printed too high on TWO copies!) The New Eternia equivalent of this Teela also has those Keep Looking Up eyes. So Mattel’s track record has been rough lately.
 
KLUT was something. I hope this new vintage collection Teela keeps looking straight ahead, and not up. I hope you get a good one NORM. I have definitely seen you post a few times about bad QC when ordering right from Creations.
 
I got the cartoon Teela today and... I think I'm okay with them resting this line for a while. I've had such a string of shit luck with them the past couple of months it feels like they've just given up. She's got a stuck left hip / ball joint, and her right hip/ball joint is... I can't even describe it. It's like the machine just mangled it and took a layer of plastic off the top but still got the joint in there, so it moves, but I'm sure it'll snap off at some point. And I don't even want to try to return it because what am I gonna say: hey, I'm a grown man and upon CLOSE inspection of this character's crotch it looks like she's got some sort of plastic rectal prolapse?

But the eyes are better so I'll probably just see if I can swap these heads onto KLUT and get one good figure out of the two of them. Between this and having Adora's leg snap off in my hand right out of the package I feel like there was a really good bell curve with Masterverse - some struggles to launch, a REALLY strong middle, and then kind of a crash at the end here.
 
@docsilence KLUT (New Eternia) Teela and Vintage Teela have different skin tones. Don’t bother with swaps, though if she’s got the snake mask on, it might hide the differences.

Obviously I got Vintage Teela also, via Mattel Creations. The only issue with mine is the non-cowl head has eyes printed slightly too high (similar to my Sharella figures. Otherwise, I like her (using the cowl head, obvi). But she’s so similar to New Eternia, I question if it was worth it anyway.

It seems Walmart is still going to ship another couple I ordered from there, and if they have better eye prints, I’ll take ‘em and return this one in its place.

I hit like because 1.) I'm happy for you, and 2.) We don't have a "Holy Shit I can't believe it the sky is falling!" reaction here at Articulated Thoughts.

Be careful PantherCult.......Wal-Mart may be up to something.
 
Goddammit, am I buying a second Teela from Walmart if I can get one? I'm FUMING that my Mattel Creations one is kinda fucked up.
