Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

Nice, I've been loving Hordak way more than expected. I'm a sucker for a figure that has 3 points of contact with the ground and balance well. Combined with the wings and Hordak is so much fun to just pose wherever.

I forgot this thread existed because I forgot this line existed because they forgot the 1987 movie existed.

I thought I was content with the previous Hordak figure with the blue arms and legs. I always thought his face sculpt was decent but cast in a plastic that washed out the details, and lacked paint to compensate. But the NE Hordak is just magnificent. The face is exactly what I want, and the wings are exactly what I didn’t realize I want. He pairs really well with the new She-Ra too. It’s a shame Catra was from a more basic time. She and Shadow Weaver are the weakest of the current Horde figures.

Yes I need them to make more. NOW.
It’s time for those cool troopers. There’s some of that actual armor in a second-hand store near me, and it taunts me every time I see it.

That's awesome.

But yeah, I'm pretty annoyed. Got a barely-release of Blade (OR the movie figures are so popular that he sold out very quickly despite being the same run as every other figure that doesn't sell out) and then not even an announcement for another figure. Selfishly, I feel like getting out the cast of the film for the first time is way more important than the twentieth iteration of the vintage 8 back.

For all of his maaaaaaaannnnyyy faults, at least Scott Neitlich spoke to us.

Damon Nee is on the Masterverse side. Damon Nee of Marvel Legends/Toy Biz days. He knows the importance of the online community. That they leave us in the dark this much is a crime. Hell, even quarterly streams like Hasbro would be beneficial.
