Masters of the Universe: Masterverse

I saw Hordak, KLUT, and Kobra Khan today at Wal-Mart too. I didn't buy any as I have them already. But I did look at KLUT to see if she had better eyes than the KLUT I have. She did not. Her action feature was on full display. She kept looking up.

Alas, I'm convinced this Teela is only on the bottom. Bottom of reality, bottom of all dimensions, basically she's bottom bitch Teela. She keeps looking up because it's her only option. She doesn't even need to look down at her, nose, chin, chest, body, legs or feet. Because in fact, everything below her eyes is actually the TOP of all reality due to the folding of space time and dimensional fabric. So, the top, the very very top is her feet all the way up to right under her eyes. The bags under her eyes are the pinnacle, absolute top of all reality. But her eyes themselves ladies and gentlemen. Her eyes themselves are absolute bottom. And all they can do, is Keep. Looking. Up.

Apparently Mattel Creations is having a members only sale. They sent a link via email of what will be 50% off, with the instructions to add these items to your cart, but don’t check out til Nov 3 when the items actually go on sale. For MotU, they had a lot of old stuff like Geldor, buff Evil Lyn, TechnoSorceress. Nothing more recent or elusive.

My local Target doesn't have a spot anymore for Masterverse as of the last reset, which is a bummer. There's twice the amount of space taken up by Mr Beast and Skibidi Toilet toys now. With neither Walmart or Targets nearby having them, buying Masterverse in person is all out the window in my neck of the woods. Which is stupid because I live in MN suburbs and it's collector city up here. Can't stand in an action figure isle for 30 seconds without another adult checking out what's on the pegs.

I never see other collectors here in my hometown but I did run across a really cool guy in a Memphis Target when I was hunting for Cobra Island exclusives. Actually talked for an hour or so and he ended up starting a Joe collection after I showed him the figures.

Seems like a happy story until you realize that thousands of dollars later, that guy fucking hates you and remembers you only with loathing and rage.

Yep a pretty lame sale. I'm waiting on Black Friday to see if any of the companies will have something worthwhile on sale.

It's much harder to maintain local area toy friendships when the pegs are empty. It's like a post-apocalypse setting and toys are water.

No. This is going to be important for movie product next year, so they don't want it to die, but they also don't want to oversaturate with it and have retailers not order the movie tie-in product right away. So Masterverse will be chilled a little prior to the movie.
Now, if the movie product doesn't move, will Masterverse get cancelled? Probably.
