Marvel Toys on Sale

My spending all but stopped the last several months due to us abruptly becoming a 1-income household (shout out to the GOP, amazing stewards of the economy!). But that's basically half off for Man-Wolf - it would almost be irresponsible NOT to buy it...

You've always got 30 days to return it, as well.

The X-Men 97 Wave 3 is already out of Target's system, it looks like, so if you see a remnant you may be able to get it for cheap - I found a lone Jubilee today who wouldn't ring up and they offered to ring her up for $10. I said yes. :)

Oh, Christ, I'd never survive. I used some hand sanitizer today and my knuckles bled.
I ruined my hands working an outdoor job in cold weather during covid - lots of hand sanitizer every day, straight into the cold. Now as soon as the temperature drops my hands crack and bleed like crazy.

I teach Ceramics to high school. Contact with clay constantly dries out my skin. No matter how often I moisturize, either with lotion or O'Keeffe's Working Hands, my fingers crack in the same spots. Couple that with my side gig playing guitar in a duo 3x a month, I'm afraid my hands will just fall off in the next decade.

You guys are lucky. I have (apparently) inverse psoriasis. For years now I have tried all sort of home remedies, lotion/moisturizer routines, over the counter creams, etc. Finally a dermatologist prescribed a new topical cream which because it is so new costs $400Cdn a tube (think a bit smaller than a tube of toothpaste). Thankfully my wife's insurance at work covers it completely (which is a surprise since they have never covered any specialty prescription 100%).

The problem is the side effects. I get to choose between a beautiful face with red rashes and flaky skin, or a clear complexion but headaches, full body pain and a mild but persistent case of the "runs." I had to stop using it daily because of the side effects and go down to twice a week to maintain a level of red skin that doesn't look too bad.

To derail this thread just a little further, a couple years ago I came down with what I understand to be some type of hand excema/psoriasis. It mainly affects my palms and after its initial itchy stage, it progresses into a dry, flaking, thickening of the affected tissue with frequent cracking and minor bleeding. it sucks because I am an artist by trade and all-around ass-kicking ninja who uses my hands on a daily basis.
Anyway, after finally seeing a dermatologist, I was prescribed a corticosteroid called clobetasol which I was instructed to apply twice a day for 3 weeks, cease for 1 week, then repeat. I personally decided to augment each application with a coating of "Aveeno Colloidal Oatmeal Eczema Therapy" and then don a pair of nitrile gloves with the fingers cut off so I retain full tactile sensation and allow my hands to breathe a little, all while sealing-in the critical medicine & moisture. The dermatologist thought this was a genius strategy.
After about six months, it has almost completely cleared up and I'm at the point where I seldom have the need to apply the steroid, and instead only apply a little Aveeno and a glove when necessary -usually before I know I'm going to be putting my hands through some extraneous abuse.
These days there is virtually no more itching, cracking, or bleeding and I'm able to do what I need to do without impairment.

Sorry for the long-winded medical history but maybe it can help somebody mitigate their own situation.

I assume this relieves the effects of knuckle-dragging as well?
