...as opposed to now...how?

Oh boy! They said if I hit a Baker's Dozen on my punch card then I get something for free.
Now I'm going to put this on the movie because the movie didn't do it.
Blade doesn't have a sword. I can figure out the coat.
But does anyone have any recommendations for a sword substitute?
Depends on if you're willing to do a little painting, or want it to come pre-painted. Forgive me, I'm not familiar enough with Blade to know exactly what kind of sword he has, but I feel like, just going off photos, the purple sword that original Psylocke came with would work, with just a little paint. Otherwise, depending on how you have your Deadpool loaded up, you could always give him one of Deadpool's katanas. Or if you have Spiral and an extra one from her? Or something from Classified? Snake Eyes?
Or there's this custom one I found on Etsy:

I like that neck set up on Cassandra, makes her seem a little more other-worldly the way it pivots abruptly. But mine popped off right out of the package, and doesn’t adhere to the ball peg very well at all. May have to really push it on with some force. It’ll hold poses, but it just doesn’t feel like it’s gripping that ball peg securely.
Also, her single joint elbows have range that’s limited enough that her psychic pointing left hand can’t reach her temple in a convincing way. Come on, why regress like that? There are plenty of Black Series elbows that are engineered well enough to have better range than doubles.
Only had a little time with the figures last night, but I'd agree with your points on Cassandra. I don't entirely hate the neck implementation- it's definitely interesting, and it's nice that it doesn't break up the sculpt at all, but because of that (and, I suppose the flared collar of the coat), she can't look up at all.
Just to play Devil's Advocate on the temple thing, does she ever touch her temple to use her powers in the movie? I haven't seen it in a minute, but I just remember having more telekinetic powers. I know that's not entirely the point- a major figure released in 2026 should definitely be able to at least touch its temple, especially on a hand with outstretched fingers.
Some really interesting articulation choices with Cassandra all around. In many ways, it does feel like Hasbro is in a time of experimentation- Cassandra's neck, BoBF Boba's toe joints, separate helmet heads, etc. I don't mind them branching out and trying new things, but it does mean that one figure is always gonna be the scapegoat, and unlike Boba, I don't necessarily see them making another Cassandra any time soon- movie or comic.
