Sure feels like it. Why is it so difficult for this company to make toys? It’s not like Medicom is a mom and pop operation.

Rogue isn’t actually delayed this month, they were saying February back in November I think. In any case, January was already off the table.

Seeing Venom in blue irks me. I know it's a thing that exists in some sort of media, but my mind will never accept Venom other than in black. Mafex did the black shading that Hasbro left out, so that's something.

Four good looking unmasked heads on that brown Wolverine (as opposed to Hasbro's zero) and the Hulk's reflection in the claws is ambitious.

it’s a little uncanny valley for me because usually when I imagine venom in blue, it’s during his lethal protector era and at no point was Eddie drawn by Todd McFarlane. It was mostly drawn by guys like Mark Bagley, Ron Lim, Joe St Pierre, Tom Lyle, Kelley Jones and about a dozen others. So venom should be on a much bigger body, given a larger jaw with a gnarly set of teeth, the long tongue and of course the green saliva, and then include a mor stylized logo. Then with the copious amounts of blue highlights will serve as the perfect venom.

Mine hasn't had a date at all the past few delays. Amazon gave up.

I saw a photo of Rogue displayed in the MAFEX store in instagram. Just checked and Kaiju Daddy has a video of it: here

He mentions (paraphrasing) "this is a new version without the damaged coat that we saw when it was displayed in the summer"

Makes me think it's finally coming in February. Jacket looks good, though it still looks like pleather... hoping it doesn't crack and flake.

This makes sense (not as a business strategy for Mafex, but as an explanation for all the reissues and delays).

Sounds like Mafex fundamentally misunderstands their consumers. The people buying CT figures are largely consumer for whom Mafex figures would be completely out of budget for, save for a figure or two. CT’s actual competition for collector dollars is Hasbro and McFarlane.

Rogue looks good, better than before. Excited to add her to the team.

Also, when I watch his videos, I’m never expecting that Boston accent given the channel name.
