Nash is looking a lot better in this second look... still lacking the texture that makes Storm's pop so much, but I like how this head sculpt looks a lot more. Chunners still looks really dopey, though.
 
Vega can be a name of Spanish origin. However, it's also an arabic name, and its meaning in arabic (referring to a falling/swooping eagle) likely has something to do with why it was given to the dictator fellow with eagles in his design.

Is Target still carrying SF? Last time I knew one of my Targets had figures was through a FB post showing Blanka/Sagat on the shelf
 
If the Player-2 and alt colors hadn't been exclusives I might have bought them. If I'm going to rebuy figures I already have just to get extra accessories the last thing you want to do is make it difficult for me.
 
The only two alt looks I've had trouble finding have been the Target exclusives - I never did find red Chun-Li but I I have the pink version so my player one/player two interest is mostly sated, and I think the only figure in the line I didn't love was Guiile so not getting a second version of him was okay. I still wouldn't mind having an alternate paint scheme for him but if I never find the blue one I won't be too mad. I think I like the alt paints on Ryu better than the original I got.

The only alt I was interested in was Dhalsim but $55+ shipped was just too much for me. And he sold out too fast for me to yolo it the next day. I think just the idea that the extended roster is huge turned me off from buying any alts to begin with. Personally I'd rather the Jada ones all look classic together, and then I'd buy alt looks from Storm and mix those into other lines.

Still, looking forward to seeing the alt Blanka. Now that I think about it, because of how shitty my local stores are, I haven't seen a single alt version in person.
