Even if that is successful, uou're still going to need to use a dremel & a little Apoxie Sculpt to eliminate the post-thanksgiving-dinner unlatched belt. And I assume he has pockets on his butt?
 
They should have reused the Dragon Man body for the Abomination, the feet would have to be newly sculpted.

I’m pretty sure (but don’t quote me) that if you lose the trousers, you’ll need to sculpt some scales over the area to match up - I did when I kitbashed from the BAF version back in the day

Got the new Abomination from Pulse. Great upgrade! He finally has some good size and articulation. Matched very nicely with the recent Hulk figures, unlike the old Abomination, who was too short.

Good articulation, even if the body isn’t new anymore. But the Gamerverse Abomination body was always pretty nice. The three new head sculpts are great. I like the soft plastic claws which allow him to hold opponents. Extra fists would have been really nice to get.

Nice to finally sort of complete the Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes version of the first Masters of Evil! Fully ionic Wonder Man would be nice to get. As would another Crimson Dynamo (even if the BAf Dynamo remains my favorite BAF of all-time).

I got Abomination from Pulse today. I like this figure a lot. It definitely works for me in every way, and I'm really happy to have it, because as I've mentioned before, I didn't have any other Marvel Legends Abomination figures.

It was funny, because I also got in the mail today the DC Multiverse McFarlane 2 Pack of the Grim Knight and Killer Croc. Just a set I hadn't bought and finally picked up for a good price because I wanted that particular Killer Croc figure. So, in the mail today, it was just full of big green ugly bastards.

I tried ripping the shorts off, it was a disaster, so I bought Apoxie Sculpt to fix it so it looks like he's wearing trunks.
 
If you don't mine me asking, how long do you think we'll get a newer Abomination? Same size as this new one, but with trunks and fist hands.

If I personally had to guess, I'd say 2-3 years. They have the body, Hasbro loves to reuse and re-release with minor updates, and all they'd have to do is maybe a more classic head sculpt, do the trunks instead of ripped pants, and maybe some slightly brighter classic colors.
