Hulk Deluxe/Retro Wave

What wrong with the Mecha-Hulk from the Incredible Hulk classics toy line from 2004? That figure is in need of need an update.
Mine will never leave my shelf because it is so awesome, but unfortunately, he's now looking a bit puny with the current Hulk size. If they make a new one with the love put into the original, that would be amazing. Not saying it has to look the same, upgrade that bad boy, but it will be hard to match just how great the original was/is.

I rather stupidly passed on it when I saw it on the shelves back in the day because it wasn't comic accurate....

He was clearly based on a Hulk / Titanium Man / Gorilla hybrid with those arms: https://legendsverse.com/my-collection/1226012

Mine is faded all to hell but I still love it. That seat in the back for Gremlin to pilot him is definitely inspired by Titanium Man like Reno said. I probably appreciate it more now than I did at the time - back then every slot that wasn't a new comic figure felt like a wasted opportunity. 20 years and 500+ unique characters later it's a neat little piece of ML/ML-adjacent history that I'm glad exists.

You think Samson might come with Smart Hulk's giant gun to justify his price point? I assume Samson will probably be on the new Gladiator body, so how do you charge 45 dollars for that? Giant gun.
While that sounds like a great idea, they'd also have to include a Hulk gun-wielding hand for said giant gun. If they did that, I'd be stoked and double dip on Smart Hulk for a smiling version in bunny slippers and the other gun wielding and pissed off.

They do multiple price points on the other retro packaging options so no reason they can’t do it here. But, I still think there’s a decent chance that the other two are big guys (Hulk 2099 and Cosmic/Mecha Hulk) and Samson comes in a similar way as Red She-Hulk.
This is my hope. I'd have zero use for that gun, and be irritated I'd be paying a premium for Samson and an accessory I would have zero use for. But released in a Red She-Hulk fashion...? That's ideal. I'd also be in for Hulk 2099, but pass on Mecha-Hulk.

That giant gun in scale would be at least 6" long and 2" wide - that's a lot of plastic...

Yeah I'm on team "don't care about the giant gun." I wouldn't deride someone for wanting it since it is such an iconic panel, but it's a massive chunk of plastic that we'd end up paying extra for and would just end up in my parts bin. There's no shortage of generic sci-fi cannons out there - hell, anyone who has been collecting for more than a year or two probably already owns a thing or two that could work as a stand-in.
