Hulk Deluxe/Retro Wave

I've heard people say Cyborg/Mecha Hulk and Hulk 2099, and I'm wondering if it's not possible it's a different character entirely, namely the new 2099 Red Hulk? I know Marvel's got issues with publishing the original Hulk 2099 comic given who wrote his series, but I don't know if that extends to "promoting" the character in figure form. Anyways, this is the new Red Hulk 2099, who sorta fits both descriptors:

Anyway - how bout that Smart Hulk? The Hulk Classics figure was one of my favorites for ages - finally let him go a few years ago because he was too undersized and I thought a new one would be along soon. Not as soon as I'd hoped, but I'm excited to get him! Swappable bunny slippers are a must.
 
I like the idea we’re getting more Hulks, but I’m gonna be pissed if Doc Samson costs the same as Hulk. I mean, that was true for the Foom wave but the small guys also had huge BAF pieces. If it’s more of a theme than a wave that’s solid though. Like this year they did a surprising amount of X-Force with Nightcrawler, Archangel, Warpath, and X-23.

It’s a little disconcerting that the releases this year (and last) have been hugely away from the BAF waves but it’s given way to some solid 2 packs, exclusives, and deluxes.
 
I’ll buy Samson happily and probably Smart Hulk too, if he’s not too price gougey. But I’m still crabby about another whole Hulk wave where the villain has been done by Legends a half dozen times already. If they could just have snuck in a Madman or Ironclad (pretty easy mods of existing Hulk bodies), I’d have been happier. Or done a bit more work for Psyklop, Half Life, Tyrannus or Harpy.

And if they wanted to balance out the plastic demands a bit, we’re long overdue a Rick Jones or a standard General Ross (I know there’s that generic army guy who’s a decent match, but I’d sooner get something built to mesh with the existing line).

A Hulk wave would be very welcome. I wonder if they'd be homaging the Toy Biz 5" line, or the Toy Biz Hulk Classics line. I definitely need a real Doc Samson. I don't even display the old one and always hated it because the sculpt was generally great, but the hips ruined the figure so much. I definitely want a new Smart Hulk. The Hulk Classics figure was so good, still one of my favorites from that era. I'd like to see Zzzzax and Harpy, but I don't have a lot of depth of knowledge of Hulk's rogues. I'd take an Abomination redo if it's bigger with a better sculpt (really the knees on the BAF were lame). Maybe Bi-Beast, though he's supposed to be much bigger than Hulk.. Rick Jones, Betty Ross, Thunderbolt Ross, also would be welcome.
 
I've wanted a dedicated Hulk wave for years. I think the last one was the Fin Fang Foom BAF wave. However the figures that I really want don't sound like they're going to be part of this: Rick Jones A-Bomb, Zzzax, Ironclad, Bi-Beast, Red King, Lyra, Miek, etc.
 
How is there still not a new Spider-hulk figure, especially given all the Spider verse focus these last few years
 
How did I not mention Zzzax in my post when he’s been propping up my Top 10 list for more than a decade?

Dadgum memory ain’t what it was…
 
I REALLY hope Doc Samson is the classic lightning bolt design. One of my favorite characters in the 70s/80s Hulk books.

For more modern, I truly hope we eventually get Red Harpy (I know she appeared in that form in classic books as well, but her appearances in Immortal Hulk really elevated that concept for me). I'm aware many love Betty in her Red She Hulk look, but to me it was a redundant look, and the only She Hulk I will ever accept is Jennifer. Red Harpy was far more interesting for Betty, in my opinion.
