Not confirmed but i heard that Hiya is gonna make a Heat ray GMK. Of course, it happens when i buy the regular version like 2 days ago, FML

Oh cool, i dont feel that bad now LOL I saw it on reddit today

Want list:
Will leave my GMK the regular version cause he does have the best "evil" look, no need for the heat ray (gradient white dorsals)
I also have the Neca 1962 zilla (solid white dorsals)

  • 1991 zilla with the blue dorsals
  • modern zilla with the pink dorsals
  • 2000 zilla with the yellow dorsals

The MUTO is a must buy but why is he only 5.9" inches? should be 7" inches? ill probably modify him and make him taller. im fine that it comes in a set. im pretty new to collecting Godzilla, so i gotta catch up...

So Hiya have revealed the male Muto... and he's in a set with the already released female Muto. That actually pisses me off.
That's kind just how Hiya works I've come to find. It is frustrating, at "least" they're not as costly as with Bandai when they do the same or similar crap.

I will pass on these. The further we get into the Monsterverse the more I feel like it dilutes the brand into something that is only surface level. LP really could have gone in deep with any of Godzilla’s lore as they wanted but following King of the Monsters they thought a better idea would be to kill off all the monsters save for Kong. I know there has been rumors that Space Godzilla is expected to appear in Supernova but there is no precedent or pretext for him to show up in any capacity unlike his origins in the Heisei timeline. Because if the cosmos itself can produce its own Godzilla then why don’t that version challenge and kill King Ghidorah before it attempted to invade earth? And also if it’s Space Godzilla’s role to oversee and restore balance in the universe, why do we need multiple generations of a terrestrial Godzilla to inhabit Earth? Isn’t our planet still in the jurisdiction of Space Godzilla?

I dont stress the lore, personally. All about the monsters for me. I dont know that I've enjoyed any Godzilla movie for the actual story involved, and ive seen them all.

I'm already wary of pre-ordering for fear that a nicer looking repaint is a year or two down the road. Now I gotta worry about missing entire additional monsters. 😭

The good news is I was able to sell my female Muto already. Bummer to not have one of the shelf for the next year or so.
