Ghostbusters General Thread

Hector said on a recent stream that Janine was intended to be put up this month, but they moved her back a bit. Which is fine with me, since apparently MotU Man-at-Arms is going up next week...

GOOD! Mondo has to know their customers are mostly middle aged individuals and that Ghostbusters/HeMan/TMNT/X-Men/Batman TAS all overlap for a lot of consumers pocketbooks. I view it as a small mercy.
 
Just got my shipping notice for Winston and Sandman!

It is without fail. I'll not have any movement on my orders through them, see a bunch of people get theirs, so I email Mondo to ask for a status update, they tell me a month or two from when they message me back, and then a day later, I get a shipping notice. This has happened 4 times now. I guess that's the trick.

They seem to try their best in that regard, but there are people who are fans of almost all of their IP and the factories can't sit idle.

Yeah, I'm happy to hear that. A little breather helps a lot (especially after just paying for my Sentinels).
 
I think I'm still a "No" on Janine. The way the main guys pose and their available expressions just doesn't seem to lend itself well to a display that involves Janine. She would basically be on her own with Slimer.

In thinking it over, I think the only additions I'd like to be able to make is a Stay Puft and the Headless Motorcyclist. For some reason, the RGB take on the Headless Horseman has been lodged in my brain ever since I saw it as a kid, though that dude would be pretty damn expensive.

Janine is where I part ways with the line unless they do expression packs, and I don't mean new expressions on the SAME figure re-released or something. I don't even know if I'm going with the desk 2pk option as I don't really need to house a desk I may never use just in case I "may" want it at some point.
 
I am a yes on Janine and the desk, but I have no intention for the Ghostbusters and I don't want any of the ghost stuff. So if anybody would want whatever extras she has once we know, we can have that conversation.

Dunno if they're even full ghosts besides kissyface Slimer, they look like they're constructed to fit into the desk drawers. Other than that she basically comes with a computer, phone and office supplies mostly, like an office chair and detachable lower torso for sitting legs.
 
Got Winston and Sandy yesterday. Nice to have the three GBs, and that excited pop of them being together is building. Sandman's fun for what he is. Which is a big heavy block of plastic. But it's a nice block of plastic.
 
Mine's barely even left Austin. Had weather delays listed twice in the tracking, so not even a projected date yet.
